We are a 501©3 non-​profit charity that provides clothing and other necessary resources to those who are struggling financially in our region. We accept clients by referral and partner with the Douglas County Panther Pantry and The Wish-​List Network.

We provide both used and new clothing, accessories and baby items free of charge to those who are referred and signed up with our program.

History

Established in 2012.

We are a grassroots Christian ministry organization that began in the garage of the family home. We expanded and began our partnership with our network of non-​profits in March of 2012. Since then we have served over 500 individuals with clothing and other necessary needs. Our goal is to continue to expand to help as many people as possible sharing the love of Christ.

As a student at Nazarene Bible College Jessica was given a Senior Capstone Project to develop a business plan for a new ministry. Jessica decided to not just make this business plan but to also put it into action. The business plan became a reality 6 months later with the submission and acceptance of Lydia’s Closet as a 501©3 tax-​exempt organization recognized by the Internal Revenue Service.

Since then Jessica has put blood, sweat, and tears into creating what is now a ministry outreach to hundreds in her community. People are both blessed to give and to receive at this organization that God helped her build from the ground up.
