Specialties
As a social worker and psychotherapist who treats people seeking to resolve personal problems, my focus is on helping my patients improve and deepen personal relationships, become more satisfied and productive in work, change lifelong ways of coping that just aren’t working. Change occurs through exploration in a safe and private environment where you can feel understood and where you can creatively discover new ways of addressing old problems.
History
Established in 2001.
In 2001 I practiced under the name of Sandra DiPhillips, LICSW, LADC. In my practice I work with people individually, and my specialty is treatment of mood disorders, as well as addiction and its problems. In 2002 I undertook my first of two fellowships, this one in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Boston Institute for Psychotherapy. My second fellowship began in 2006 at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute where I studied analytic psychotherapy. During this time my focus was on deepening my work with patients, increasing the breath of my knowledge of technique, theory, and practice. I continue to practice in this way.
