Lucky 7 Stables

Visited Lucky 7 last weekend and had a wonderful time! The staff was very friendly and the trail was lovely on a brisk fall day. It was so affordable, in a great location. Our trail guide answered all our questions. Loved it.

My friends and I checked this place out last Saturday and had a great experience. The four of us did a trail ride and it was great. It was $ 30 a person and I would say the ride itself was somewhere around 40 minutes. The horses were great & staff really knew their personalities which made it more relaxing. We felt like we were in great hands! We will absolutely be back!

We have never been horseback riding. They were phenomenal for us. They explained everything we needed to do and made us feel extremely comfortable as we went through the trails.

The people working here are very nice and friendly. My boyfriend and I took an hour long private Western lesson with Donna and she was great at explaining the basics and making sure we felt comfortable. The horses were well trained and friendly. We will definitely come back for more lessons and trail rides.

The owner of Lucky 7 and the horses they provide are amazing. The guide they sent us out with, Jesse, was HORRIBLE. She was argumentative, would NOT assist the people in our riding party, and yelled at everyone. I definitely recommend this location, but ask for someone OTHER than Jesse. You’ll be happy you did. You’ll have a much better ride.

Charming stables. Bit odd going in, as you drive in around and behind a house, then it opens up to the barns and paddocks. Multiple little «tack houses» are set up in rows, like mini barns. I’m not sure if that’s for the people who board their horses to store their equipment?
The staff are very friendly and horses well tempered. I had emailed them looking for riding lessons for my visiting niece, but they responded in a timely manner to say they were booked up. However they did have openings for trail rides, so made an appointment for Jade and her mom. I used to do a lot of riding and would have gone too, but with a bum shoulder didn’t want to take any chances. Jade’s mom was a little wary, having had a very bad experience a few years ago, but she enjoyed this ride. Turned out to be a private ride, just the two of them and their guide. I think her name was Jess, or Joss? The ride was a leisurely hour long. Certainly worth the $ 30 each.
You do have to register and sign a standard release form in the front office before entering the stable area. And they do have helmets to use. No extra charge.
There are a couple gentle Labs behind the front desk. They will perch up on the counter for a head scratch.

We went there last week and had a really good time. The people there are friendly. Yes there are a lot of cats, but it’s a barn. Very casual and exactly what we wanted. The price is fair and the trail ride was fun. Will definitely go back.

Did the sunset trail ride. Had a great time. The scenery itself was breathtaking to begin with, and the beautiful sunset added to that was simply mesmerizing. My horse was «Boomer,» really really cute. I think we paid $ 35 per person for the sunset ride, and it was well worth it. Everyone that works there was very friendly and kind. We’ll be returning!

Just left Lucky 7 Stables, I agree with the other Reviews at first it seems a bit sketchy as it looks like a home, and there are tons of cats, and everything smelt like cigarette smoke; but once you get passed that to get on a horse it is an enjoyable time. I did a sunset trail ride with a friend and it was fun. All the horses were very friendly and did well on the trail.

Lucky 7 is not a fancy place by any means, but I’ve had a great time on the many trail rides I have taken there. I live nowhere near Lucky 7, but it’s worth the drive. When it was time to take the 6yr old for her 1^st riding lesson, I called around to closer places, but they were all double the price & insisted on «ground lessons» for weeks before the child would see the back of a horse. Ours has a little knowledge already, I wanted RIDING lessons — it didn’t matter. I called Lucky 7 and they were able to take us. I was delighted that we got Heather as our instructor, I’ve trail ridden with her there before and she has always been excellent. What a great instructor — she was wonderful with our girl and was really able to get down to her level and teach her in a way she could understand. She TJ, the lesson horse couldn’t have been more of a gentleman and good babysitter. I’m happy we ended up back at Lucky 7 and this is where we will be continuing, 50 mile drive or not.

Friend and I decided to go on an adventure which ultimately lead us to this adorable stable in Londonderry, NH. One hour guided tour through a forrest atop a beautiful horse. L.o.v.e.d it. Felt so majestic although I wish I would have been able to get my trot on. Totally understandable though on their part (liabilities etc). Price was 30 bucks. I find reasonable. Open year round. Will be back with apples to visit my Mr. Nugget.
