This is a place that you should see at least once, just to experience what a hardware store used to be. Dwyer Brothers was established in the 1880s, and you still get the same service folks probably got back then. If they don’t have it, they’ll get it for you… no matter what. Browse through this huge, old but well-kept place and see what real selection and customer service are.

This store has been here since Ohio. Well not quite but late 1800’s at least. I think I spent my first nickel here for a bike part. You can tell when you walk through the ‘old’ doors onto the ancient creaky hardwood floor it’s not your plastic hardware store. Simply put if they don’t have it, it probably does not exist. Radio Shack too. You’ll get help here, believe me. They’re on you like immediately. A second later you have it in your hand. Great home town people. Stop just to look at an old fashioned hardware store. Update: 2014. They no longer have Radio Shak but have added some home appliances now. Stoves, washer/dryer etc. Check ‘em out.
