History

Established in 2012.

James Knouse is the Creative Director for Walking Kind of Bird. He completed his Bachelors in Radio, Television and Film at University of North Texas in 2002. He has since worked as a video production assistant for the Dallas Mavericks and production assistant for Action P.A.C. Stunts in Dallas. Most recently, he did video production and social media management work for other companies in Santa Barbara before starting his own production company with his wife, Aubrey.

Aubrey Cano is a Microbial Oceanographer/​Science Education Researcher/​Farmer and production assistant for Walking Kind of Bird. She enjoys meeting and working with local businesses.

Their Story

James Knouse and Aubrey Cano went to middle and high school together, but it took James 13 years to work up the courage to ask Aubrey out on a date.
