The Alley Project is a full Hip Hop dance studio located in Lompoc, Ca. Established in 2012 by Alli Smith; Culture Shock San Diego & Hop Star Inc. Professional instruction for ages 3 and up. HIP HOP for all ages, BOYS hip hop (breaking, popping & locking), Street Jazz, Classical Technique and Competition Hip Hop dance teams. All are welcome!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Alexandria (Alli) began her dance career at the age of 17 when she became a member of Hop Star Dance Co and began performing all over the country for thousands of people. Alli began teaching and directing by the age of 18 and new that hip hop and dance was her passion. Alli always possessed a nitch for fashion and business also and attended collage at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM). This is where she discovered that she could turn her passion into a career and dreamt about one day owning a fun, loving, professional dance studio that would inspire and create passionate dancers. Moving to Lompoc in 2009, Alli was unsure of where her dance career would go. After teaching for a few years at local studios and youth organizations, she saw a need for her dream. Alli and her husband Dustin opened The Alley Project in December of 2012. Since then Alli has Directed award winning competition

teams and performed at many local community events and non-​local events.
