Peggy’s Pup N Suds

Great grooming experience for our two large Goldendoodles. Peggy got us in on a weekend AND did a great job for a great price. We will be back and would definitely refer ANY dog owner to this awesome business!

Quality, Service and price is perfect. Dropped off our 5 month old mountain raised puppy for her first grooming, and boy did she need it. You could tell they were busy, so I asked them to call when they were done. They finished in less than two hours, and I was able to pickup my freshly clean and happy puppy.

I came here for my puppies first grooming based on a recommendation. I am so glad I did. I felt comfortable leaving her with them and she came back shiny and clean. Will definitely be back!

I love Peggy’s. They can always get all three of our pups groomed in a pinch, and they are excellently groomed each time. Love them!

We recently adopted a Cockapoo from the shelter and she was very matted. Pups and suds took great care of her! They were able to get her in right away. They were honest up front about how difficult the job might be and about how the matting may make it difficult to keep from cutting the fur to close. It did take a long time because she was so matted but the work was great. The facilities seem a little old and run down but the staff is very friendly and sweet to the dogs. I will be taking my dog back.

We’ve taken our dog here only once, and we probably won’t be back unless we’re in a pinch. We had an appt for a Sunday and we were there promptly at the designated time. We were told that it would «take a while» for our dog to be finished. We figured that meant at least an hour, just from experience at other dog groomers, which would’ve been fine. It took nearly THREE HOURS for us to get our dog back. He laid in the small cage (he’s slightly bigger than a toy poodle — too big to be able to sit up or stand in that thing) for at least two hours. My issue with this is that we had an appt — what was the point if they weren’t going to be able to get to him at the time? Forgive me if I’m crazy here, but I think it would be worse to have our dog sit there and wait that long, than to let us know they’re running behind, could we possibly come back in a couple of hours? Or perhaps don’t overbook like that — we only decided to make an appt there because they booked up quick and figure they were really popular and good. Wrong! When we got our dog back, he had a couple of bald spots and a nick on his belly, but that happens all the time with groomers, so it’s only worth a small mention. It could’ve been worse. All in all, they did groom him as we asked, but it took way too long.

I have determined over the course of the past two years that Peggy’s actually did a better job of grooming my dog than any other place I have taken her since. At the time I first took her I was trying to grow her hair out and was unhappy that her hair had been thinned. I wish that I’d have received a call before hand but she did look very good and I’ve since figured out that growing her hair out is way too much work for me. I intend to give Stacy another chance if she’ll let me after my previous review.
