I’ve brought my RV to be washed, waxed, and serviced at least once a year, for the last few years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Maintenance has never been an issue for me and I’m very thankful.

Absolutely love working with Brad, he truly knows how to take care of his customers and follow through with incredible attention to detail. Pacific Coast RV makes the whole experience of owning an RV all the more enjoyable. They truly remove any and all headaches and obstacles that come in the way of the ownership experience.

I had wonderful experiences with them every time. Brad is amazing so is his brother Craig. Even though it is a bit of a drive for me, I would never take my Grooming Van elsewhere. Thank you guys. Blessings.

I wouldn’t even rate this place with one star. These people down there are so rude I would not recommend it to anybody. If you live in lompoc do not go down there they are so rude they will gang up on you and just make you feel so belittled.

Just a quick review of Pacific Coast RV in Lompoc and Atascadero, CA. Last month we bought a Forrest River R-​Pod travel trailer at the Atascadero outlet. Scott the salesman treated my wife and I well with no pressure tactics. Later on I went down to the main outlet in Lompoc where I worked with Annette and Brad, I think that’s his name. Sometimes I have a hard time with names. Annette was helpful in setting up an appointment for a trailer hitch installation. While Brad did the installation. After the installation he took the time to guide me in proper trailer hitch.

Phenomenal prices, service, and just a friendly, feel-​good experience. Starts at the top with Shaun and runs throughout the rest of the team… special thanks to Scott Pattie for being honest with us. It’s so rare to find honest people like Shaun and Scott who will make you laugh as well as feel good about doing business with them. Been back for service work a few times as well and Brad and Craig are incredible. Strongly recommend!!!

Pacific Coast RV is an RV sales and service business located in Lompoc, CA. My review pertains to recent/​ongoing service work that I had done (late Aug/​early September 2013).
I recently purchased a small travel trailer from a distant dealer and intended to tow it behind my 2012 Toyota Sienna XLE. This necessitated having a trailer hitch and associated wiring (taillights, brake lights, electric trailer brakes) installed on the van. At the time that I was discussing this work with the staff, I was assured that they had «years» of experience doing similar work on vans, cars, etc and that this was «no problem». I picked up my van the first time and everything appeared fine.
The next morning I discovered that using the left blinker also caused the right brake light to flash… definitely something wrong here. Pacific Coast RV (Brad) diagnosed this as a faulty «converter» that they had installed and replaced it… everything seemed fine. I also discovered that they had completely removed the rear underbody rubber splash shield that covers the rear underbody when the Reese trailer hitch instructions direct you to simply cut holes in the shield at the hitch attachment points. I am concerned that this could expose my car to corrosion/​rust problems down the road from water/​snow (I am active duty military so I anticipate moving to a colder area with snow).
I then drove several hours to pick up my travel trailer only to discover that the brake controller had not been wired properly to the brake pedal in the van. As a result, I had no functional electric trailer brakes. The only way to use the brakes was to manually enable them on the brake controller as I was driving (using the brake controller manual braking switch). I would have thought they would have done a test/​checkout of their work before returning the van to me.
On 5 September, I returned to Pacific Coast RV to ask them to fix their incorrect installation. The first question from Brad was «what did you do? It was working when you left». I find that quite outrageous… the problem is with wiring located behind/​under the dash… obviously not something that I could have broken through the normal operation/​driving of my car. They were unable to work on the car (said they were short staffed) and asked me to drop it off again on Friday, 6 September. The minivan is my family’s primary mode of transportation so all of these trips back and forth have been quite a hassle.
In the end they fixed everything, but it took a lot of trips back and some arguing. I feel like I paid for «professional quality» work but got an amateur job. Not recommended.
Update – they’ve called me a few times and left voicemails. I assume it is to hassle me about this Unilocal review. I have not returned their calls.
