Karen is one of the most experienced teachers out there, with over 25 years of teaching under her belt. Her team of teachers reflect her standards of giving a high quality lesson at an affordable price. In my opinion, there is no higher quality lesson in this area.
All of their students have the opportunity to play in concerts several times per year, and their curriculum is well balanced to ingrain the love of music, as well as the skills necessary to be good at it. Being a school, families have the opportunity to have several family members in lessons at the same time while taking from different teachers.
This school creates and environment of loving support for every student. They also have the opportunity for students to participate in ICME, National Guild of Piano Teachers, and California Music Teachers Association events, helping their students to qualify for music scholarships and college music programs. Karen has been called on to judge events for hundreds of other teachers around the state, and has given feedback to over 60,000 students over the last 25 years. Her students have gone from being beginners to becoming some of the very top pianists and musicians in the country.
