While professional and courteous this place is too expensive. They will charge you as much if not more than a dealership. They got my money this time but I will never use them again.

Took my pick up truck to Hodges for a smog check. I’m new to the area and, after reading such positive reviews, I thought I’d give them a shot. My truck is 25 yrs old, so I thought for sure an automotive shop would use that as an excuse to «add on» repairs.
First, when I walked in Jim could not have been more courteous. I was taken almost immediately. The test was very quick and my truck passed with flying colors. Jim found a bent part under the hood and took the time to fix it at no charge. He also took a quick look at everything else there and said it all looked fine.
I am very impressed with the shop, and especially with the service I got from Jim. Will definitely be taking all of my car and truck service needs in the future to Hodges.

Always great customer service at Hodges. Excellent repair work EVERY time. Just had a replacement part fail. Jim re-​accomplished the repair (parts and labor) at no charge with no hassle. Hodges prices are not cheap. But they are fair for the quality work performed. And Jim stands by all work performed.
I am also comfortable sending my wife to Hodges when I am out of town. Jim provides honest recommendations for needed repairs. So no worries about getting ripped off. If they find a leak or other additional needed maintenance, they call for authorization before performing the extra work. And they are fine with declining additional repairs. But at least you know you have something that may need attention in the future.
Best of all, no pressure; ever!

I would recommend the other AAA repair facility in town! These people did not do a thorough job fixing my car after I already paid $ 700 for repairs that were not warranted!

I’m retired AF, and have brought my vehicles (Honda, Acura and Nissan) to Jim at Hodge’s Automotive since 2004.
PROS: Jim has integrity, is professional, and he and his team are very friendly. Service is excellent, and on the one occasion I had a problem w/​some work performed, Jim took care of the re-​work w/​no hassle or extra costs. Scheduling is efficient
CONS: Get the feeling they could use another full-​time employee
