Without a doubt the absolute best optometry office I’ve been to! The office is very clean, professional, and friendly. I always dreaded going to the eye doctors, and now I actually enjoy going. The optometrist always goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I will always go back to her because of the amazing experience I receive.

Yes, yes and yes. The attention to detail is amazing. A great variety of frames to chose from, which is a great thing for a picky person like me. They take the time to listen to the clients needs, and try to figure out exactly what you want. The office is very clean, and the girls are all very nice. I was very pleased with Dr. Kaspian’s service. She helped me pick out my frames too, which I think are super cute! Thank you very much Prospect optometry for all your attention. I will definitely make this my go to place.

I absolutely recommend them they take there time with you are very helpful .They were very patient with my sons with autism. Beautiful inside very relaxing and clean doctor is so sweet. I been coming here for 2 years now.

First I called on the phone to check whats my coverage on my insurance and they are very informative to what my final cost will be. Eye exam was quick and covered all the details I need to know regarding my eyes. I got my contacts and they are superb, way better than my previous optometrist. Definitely will be back because the customer service was great.

At the time I went to get an eye exam, this establishment was the only place giving out a Unilocal deal. The place can be a tad bit hard to find as it’s in a very small plaza area and it’s tucked away in a small corner.
What was most impressive to me was the fact that my appointment started on time. I’ve been having eye exams since pre-​school and I’ve always had to wait 15 – 30 minutes after my appointed time before they finally get to me. Dr. Kaspian herself is very amiable and engaging. She was able to spot out some major problems in my previous prescription and she did something no other eye doctor did which was to check out my eyeglasses prescription and compare it with my contact prescription (I came in for contacts only).
Unlike my previous eye doctor, Dr. Kaspian ordered several brands for me to try out simultaneously which means that I didn’t have to try out a brand, come back, and wait for a new brand to try out. For price, know that an eye exam here costs $ 150 if you have no insurance.

Susan is the best of the best! From checkups, glasses, contacts, to insurance coverage she takes care of everything. I recommend her services to everyone. I always leave with a smile!

Came here a year ago to get a prescription filled. They had a great selection of frames and I had lot of help picking out the ones that suited me best. Very personable, friendly and most importantly happy with what I got! :)

I decided to try Prospect Optometry from all of the fantastic reviews on Unilocal after my medical insurance company changed and my old Optometrist was not on their list of providers. I called for an appointment which was pleasant enough although my appointment date was not for another week. I arrived for my appointment on time and still had to wait for 20 minutes after I filled out all of the forms to see the Optometrist. The eye exam was OK and went very fast, then she asked what problems I was having with my glasses. We discussed the problems I was having and she wrote up a prescription.
I went out to pick out a pair of frames and was both disappointed in the selection of men frames and the prices were horrible even after the so called discount but I needed a new pair of glasses and picked a lesser grade of frame than I usually get for around $ 60, Prospects’ price after discount was $ 140. We ordered up the glasses, paid the full amount after the insurance which is the most I have ever paid for glasses even without insurance. We were told they would take a couple of weeks and they would call when they came in.
A month later and several calls to check they finally came in. Never waited this long for a pair of glasses. I went in to pick them up and had to wait again until they finished with everyone that had an appointment before she would help me. I put the glasses on and tried to read a card and they were not correct. I was told I had to get used to them, take them and wear for a week and they will be fine. I tried to wear for a week but had to really tweak the frames out of whack in order to see anything while I was on a trip up north. On my return I went back and was again met with hostility as I tried to explain what the problem with the glasses were. After 20 to 30 minutes of this hostility the Optometrist came out and tried to convince me the glasses were fine, she finally understood what I was saying and agreed she would look into it, remeasured my eyes and sent them back.

A little over a week later I received a call that my glasses were in. I went in and had to wait again while the receptionist made several billing calls before she went back to get my glasses. I put them on and although not perfect at least I was able to see out of them. They never once fitted the frames to my face so I have had to adjust the ear pieces to get them to fit correctly. After adjusting I can read with them now.
I will never go back to Prospect Optometry, this place is way overpriced, rude, slow and try to pass off defective glasses unless you stand up to them long enough then they will reluctantly fix the problem.
6 weeks to get a pair of glasses that worked.
Over $ 250 out of pocket after insurance which covered the exam and $ 100 for the frame and lenses. These are only single blended without any coating or auto darkening.
I will defiantly shop around before I pick an Optometrist next time. Prospect Optometry will not be on my shopping list again.

I had the best visit with the receptionist and Dr. Kaspian. My daughter who is 8, got hosed in the eye with pretty intense spray. Afterwards her eye was shedding pink tears. We live near Silver lake and really didn’t want to spend hours in the Er. They got us in as a cash patient within an hour after we called. The receptionist was super friendly and knowledgeable. The Dr. was a breath of fresh air in Los Angeles. She was kind, knowledgeable, professional and I just really liked her. You know how sometimes you meet someone and just like them, well that was my impression of her.
Skip the er, lens craters, cosco and wherever else and try this place. (It’s got a huge selection of glasses too! Though that wasn’t why we went).

Dr. Kaspan is wonderful! We made it a family vision day, she made sure she greeted us upon arrival and got to know us personally before jumping into a eye exam. She listen to our concerns and had some great recommendations. Dr. K was very patient with my 4yr old daughter. Would highly recommend Dr. Kaspan to anyone in the area. Staff is very friendly and professional.

Doctor Kaspian is a delight to work with! She treats you like family! She has a great selection of frames that my whole family chose from. The office is beautiful and has easy access. I would recommend doctor Kaspian to anyone!

I have been seeing Dr. Kaspian for the past several years. She has given me the best and most through eye exams ever!
My experience has been very pleasant and positive. She helped me pick out a beautiful pair of glasses and sunglasses. I also had a lot of dry eye issue that she helped resolve. They even carry the Oasis tears which you can buy right there ! This has been very continent & inexpensive. I had my whole family see her and sent a lot of my friends, they have all been very happy with their services. I highly recommend Dr. Kaspian!

Dr. Kaspian is wonderful!!! My entire family has been going to her for about 3 years. I would not go anywhere else. She doesn’t rush you during exam. Best glasses ever! Love the new office in Lomita:)

Prospect Optometry is absolutely a good place to get new glasses, or an eye exam! They recently moved from Redondo Beach & there new location now is in a little plaza right next to wiener schnitzel. Doctor Susan Kaspian is so sweet! She explains everything very clear & is very nice! This place is well organized, & is very clean! Right now, they’re having a deal for $ 129 including eye exam, select frames, & single vision lenses which absolutely isn’t bad because other optometrist will charge so much more! I’ve called a lot of places that will charge $ 69 just for an eye exam! So if you’re in need for some new glasses, then come here! You won’t be disappointed! She offers good deals!

I decided it was time to get my eyes checked. Since it would be my first real visit to an optometrist, I asked around. Several of my friends described their optometrists as just «okay.» I knew I wanted better than «okay.»
I held out and kept asking. Finally, I was referred to Prospect Optometry from a relative who described Dr. Kaspian as flat out «AMAZING.» It’s true. Dr. Kaspian is incredibly talented and welcoming and she more than merits that compliment.
She was so professional and you can tell she really has high standards for her work, yet she is incredibly personable and patient.
Also, her office exceptionally clean and modern and her equipment is state of the art. She also has a great selection of frames.
I highly recommend Prospect Optometry. Dr. Kaspian and her assistant will certainly take wonderful care of you.
