One of the best and honest mechanic, i have ever met.
My suzuki Xl7 were showing some indicators — service break system, service traction control and others…
I took my car to service center and they asked me to pay $ 2200 for replace master cylinder and break booster.
then i took my car to mike and he found that break indicator switch is loose that why my car was showing those warning …
He fixed it quickly and save $ 2200.

I have nothing but praise for J and M Auto!
I went to the Volkswagen Santa Monica Service department and they gave me a $ 3,000 dollar estimate claiming that a laundry list of things were wrong with my car that I just bought in 6 months ago!
I took it to Mike and he did some research and figured out that perhaps it was just one issue wrong with my car that was causing my car to have all of these codes pop up.
LESS THAN THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS & TWO DAYS LATER — I had a car running perfectly!
So grateful for J and M Auto!!!

Michael is awesome, loyal, trustworthy, professional and knowledgeable about cars /​auto repairs. He is the type of mechanic that «once you find, you don’t lose». If you ever have any type of car concerns, do not waste your time and money on others. His pricing is more than fair. I live in the Torrance area and now that I know him, will always go to him, even if I move I will literally travel far to have him manage something so important to my life, safety, my family, my vehicle. Mike quite simply «is» that master mechanic you’ve been looking for!
Not only is he «old school», meaning he actually understands and knows what he’s doing, he is also an honorable man, something you really can’t buy.
He’s honest, tells you up front everything you need to know, won’t waste your time or money on unnecessary repairs. Seriously, there is no reason to go anywhere else. he’s the one.

it was an amazing customer service. It’s a friendly couple, and mike is a really professional and honest person. He found directly what was wrong on my mustang GT premium Roush 2010. He only need 2 days to fix it.

Honest. That is the best word you can say to describe Mike at J and M. He is an awesome Mechanic who offers fair prices. Most of all he is honest. He will tell you what is wrong and won’t cheat you into services you don’t need.
I have recommended many people to him and everybody has been exceptionally satisfied.

I had my map sensor repaired here. It turns out the repair was incomplete/​incorrect. I ended up having to pay the dealer $ 600 to complete/​fix the job done here.

Brought my sister in law’s car in for its 200K service… I was happily surprised when I called in during the holidays and Mike said to bring it right over for him to take a look. Two hours later, he called me to pick it up and gave me honest opinion on the car with a fair price. Great place and definitely going to take our other cars there too!

Mike is hands down the best mechanic I’ve ever been to. I was recommended to him by my bf’s family, who have been taking their cars there for years, and I too will only bring my car to Mike. He is honest, cheap, and there’s no BS or run arounds with him. I also recommended him to my parents who are now also loyal customers! =)

We had our rear brake pads replaced 2 – 3 weeks back and the service here was great!!! Michael is honest, sincere and very straightforward when it comes to giving us a quote. He gave us really good tips on how to check on the tires, brake pads etc. We owe him for saving us from being cheated by Pepboys (who told us that we had to replace all our tires (the new honda civic has just 26000miles on it on city roads)) and change the front rotors and gave us a quoteod $ 853 !!!
Michael took one look and told us that the problem was with the REAR brake pads and the tires were fantastic, and the rotors were in great shape too. He also let me watch him work on the car.
I did write up a detailed post on my blog to share the experience and also took a video.

I was shocked to see that no one has written a review for this little gem of a mechanic shop! My sister, my brother, and I have been bringing our cars (Honda and Acura) to see Michael for about a year now. Being a female, it is so hard to find a mechanic that doesn’t try to take you for every penny. Michael is very sincere and honest with what needs to be fixed and what can wait. He doesn’t pressure you and works with you to figure out what the best option is.
Michael’s prices are super reasonable. Whenever there is something «wrong» with my car, I bring it in and he will check it out free of charge. I even brought my car in on a Sunday, not knowing that he was closed, and was kind enough to check out my car since he was there!
This is a great place. I would definitely recommend this place!
