History

Established in 2015.

I bought the business Angell’s Canine Spa in March 15th, 2015 from a previous owner Angell. I was tired of grooming business’s not giving the proper treatment and care for the dogs. I wanted to create a full Spa experience for the fur babies. I offer healthy dog treats, grooming tools, and fun add on’s such as hair dyes, nail polish, and anti-​itch packages. I highly believe in NOT stressing out the dogs, even if it means if we have to stop grooming to tell the pet parent. I like the dogs to have a stress free environment and try my best to promise a 2 – 3 hour at most, time limit.

Haircut/​Brush out to your desire

Our shampoos are sulfate free + gluten free.

We pay extra care and attention to our senior dogs as well. Safety first! We want to provide excellent grooms to your expectations and have fun in the process!

I have been grooming for the last 12 years from Virginia, Dc, Maryland, to now in California. I am CPR certfied with Redcross and I keep up with the newest grooming trends, health, and education every year by attending Grooming seminars and events. I’ve always been around dogs growing up.

(I had a Golden, Lab, chihuahua/​pom mix, collie)

I currently now have a happy only child dog named Scooter the Bichon. He is 11 and proud to be a senior pet. I love specializing in hand scissor cuts, hair dyes, and even creative haircuts. (mohawks, frohawks, lion clips) I competed last year at SuperZoo in Vegas with a Pomeranian.

We have two yorkier/​silkie terrier mix dogs. We’ve used many groomer in the area, none of them really spark a great reviews. Today, my fiancé did a Unilocal search on groomers again today. She found Nadia’s salon and found that it had very good ratings. She called and made an appointment for Lexus and Nissan. When we entered the salon, we saw Nadia grooming a clients dog. She came over and greeted us and was very professional and very friendly.
She took the time to let our dogs know her. She sat down with them and really took the time to make our dogs feel happy and secure with her. When we arrived to pick them up, Nadia was FANTASTIC! She fully explained what she did and how she groomed them. We could see the dogs were very happy with her, neither of them take too easily to strangers. We were very happy to see that because she took the time to walk them, twice mind you that the dogs were very happy with Nadia. We will absolutely return back. Nadia, you are fantastic!!!

Nadia is awesome! We have been looking for a groomer and have taken our dog to a different groomer every month for the past two years and have not found a groomer that is capable of grooming our dog exactly how we want. We are very pleased to have found her! She left our dog looking Perfect! He came back really happy too! Her prices are really reasonable! We have definitely found our groomer!

I live in Beverly Hills, Nadia was my dogs groomer at a local pet grooming store. When Nadia left to buy her new salon in the Torrance area I felt bad but I started trying other groomers. I had some bad results and in some cases my dog was not in great shape when I picked him up.
So I bit the bullet and drove down there and dropped him off and did some errands in the area. She had him ready in about two hours, I think she got him through fast since I drove so far. Of course when I picked him up he looked amazing and was in great shape. So now I take him down there once a month and I run get all of my big chain store shopping done, I have to go out of the way to do that kind of shopping anyway. Regardless Nadia is well worth the drive.

I brought TALULU VonSage in for a cut and clean. NADIA was the perfect person. My lulu loved her and she cut and washed and cleaned her up very well. She made her look FANTASTICO !!! I am bringing her back in 2 weeks for a touch up.

Took my 9lb ShiChi to get a major spa treatment she was a hot mess. Nadia did a wonderful job on her. I’ve been coming here since previous owner for 2 years now but now I’m paying $ 20 more. Although place looks really clean and very nice. She did a great job with Molly. I hope she reconsiders bringing back the reward program. It really helps.

Nadia is the best groomer. She treats the dogs as if they were her own. Every time I take my Wolfie he gets so much attention and care. Sometimes multiple walks if he is there long. Her cuts stay looking sharp when he is grown out. I’m not surprised she wins competitions. I have never trusted anyone with Wolfie the way I trust her. Thanks For always doing such a great job!

I love the job Nadia did on our dog Gus. Not only did she do a fantastic job with his cut, she is the first groomer that has been able to cut his nails. I’ve taken him places for grooming where I can see he was anxious when I picked him up, but he was comfortable being with Nadia.

Nadia AKA the dog whisperer! She’s absolutely amazing! Unlike most of the groomers in town she listens to every wish and like u have. My pup is always so calm and relaxed when I go to pick him up and he’s known for being a really anxious little guy. She knows what she’s doing and without a doubt the best in South Bay.

Can’t say wow enough with how pleased I was with this amazing service. To start, I was so embarrassed to bring my mother’s dog in to get groomed because of the filthy condition they were in. I apologized to Nadia because of the condition the dogs were in but she seemed to be really kind and showed extra love and care to the two and treated them very kindly. My youngest pup Eddie (a terrier) is extremely shy and gets frightened easily but Nadia had a way of lightening him up and he seemed very happy when we picked him up which was amazing because he usually doesn’t do that well with new people. I was even more pleased with the service that was provided, it was like picking up two brand new dogs. Both cute as a button. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking professional doggy services.

I have been grooming with Nadia for years and we’re so happy she FINALLY has her own salon! We won’t take Chicken Nugget anywhere else but Auntie Nadia! She pays close attention and is a perfectionist so our dog’s hair looks exactly right every single time. We drive from Hollywood to see her, so if you live around the corner you have no excuse not to take your dog to be pampered. GO TO NADIA! You won’t be disappointed.

I LOVE THIS PLACE and I recommend it to everyone. Nadia groomed my dog, Lexi with absolute perfection. My poor Lexi, who is a poodle mix, desparately needed a haircut and Nadia worked her magic. New owner Nadia is fabulous. I have 2 chihuahua s she had them finished within 2 hours. They had a spa package: facial, ear cleaning, teeth cleaning, nail filing & polish. Very nice clean place. My dogs went in & seemed very comfortable & left happy, tails wagging & kept trying to give her kisses. I highly recommend this new groomer. We will be back for sure.

I have taken my dog Stryder here many times. They love him, hug and kiss him. So sweet. Great service, very accommodating. He always looks good and smells good, (even after being skunked). Stryder is well treated. I appreciate their service.
