I’ve been here several times to disc golf and after today’s round, felt it was time to write a review. As disc golf courses go this is one of the better course’s in the county. The first hole is located near the parking lot on the north side of the park and ends just west of there. There isn’t a map on premises but most tee mats are fairly easy to spot. This is an 18 hole course, each hole is marked by a wooden post with the distance from each tee(easy, standard, pro). The course optimizes the land but if football practice is in session you might have to forego a couple holes that share common ground(or sacrifice yourself as a volunteer tackling dummy). Only one hole(3rd) has a water hazard, the rest of the course is pretty standard, flat, with only tree’s standing in your way. A 19th hole is located after the 18th. It doesn’t have a tee mat so you can create your own. About the only problem with this course is a lack of hills.

HUGE park! It surrounds baseball fields. A few tee areas were missing signs, but we figured it out. Really nice for disc golf. We didn’t play the last hole as the water was too risky.

So much room for activities! Seriously, a ton of stuff is always going on here. I go to play tennis at the courts every so often. During the summer, there were three football teams practicing and three cheerleading groups. They all had plenty of space since the park is so open. They also have basketball courts, a skate area, a street hockey area, and a playground. Also, this is a place for disc golf, apparently. I’ve seen some guys playing. There are plenty of paths around the park, so I also see a lot of dogs or kids riding their bikes. Unfortunately, as the nights get shorter, it gets darker sooner, so we don’t get to play tennis as late as we’d like. Could be remedied if they had some lights, but they probably don’t want to encourage loitering. Overall, it’s a good place for getting active in whichever way you choose.
