Quality Preparations

I was referred to Quality Preparations by Mr Plumber, after my burst water pipe was repaired in my finished garage ceiling. Shane Kahn does good drywall repairs, and he works all around the Atlanta Metro Region. His punctuality, however, can be sketchy, so I give him 3 stars. Shane is a friendly fella and he willingly discusses his repair techniques and his rationale for his methods. He has a very good work ethic once he gets rolling on your project. He makes careful and precise drywall patches because his approach to doing the repairs is to minimize the use of «mud» to cover the seams for a smooth finish. He also has a keen eye for observing defects in old «popcorn ceiling» finishes; and, he has a practiced skill at applying new popcorn finish so that it blends-​in perfectly to the previously applied popcorn. Shane did a very good job of fixing a botched popcorn ceiling repair, in my dining room, that was done by a painter who did not have the proper tools or skill.
