We also provide a list of Veterinary services to both small animals and exotic pets, by our certified Veterinarian. This services include Acupuncture, Blood Work, Physical Exams, Euthanasia, Vaccines, Health Certificates, and much more. Best of all we offer these services without you leaving your home.

History

Established in 2013.

I have worked in animal hospitals since High School, I have been a kennel assistant, a Vet Tech, and since 2008 a Doctor. I spent those years getting experience with holistic medicine, modern medicine, and exotic animals. The one thing I learned from all of this experience is that the less stress a pet has the better it is for its overall health, and that owners find it hard to take time off work to bring their pets to the office. Seeing that, I came up with the idea of bringing as much of the office as possible to the owners and the pets, and offering it on their schedule to relieve the stress on the pet, and the owner too. So in January of 2013 I decided to start down the road of creating a Pet Care service that would be able to offer top care, competitive prices, and convenience to my clients, and so Moon Mobile Veterinary Services, LLC was born.

Business Owner

My name is Alicia A. Moon, and I have always had a strong interest and passion for caring for animals. I studied at UGA and majored in Biology; while in college, I worked as a kennel assistant in a holistic Veterinary practice and worked my way up to a technician position. Then I decided to take the next step from Technician to doctor — that’s when I continued my studies at the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine, where I graduated with my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. While in Vet School, I became more interested in exotic animal medicine, and I started working for an exotic practice as a student. I graduated in 2008 and pursued experience in holistic veterinary medicine and completed my acupuncture certification though IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society). I truly enjoy practicing small animal and exotic medicine and surgery, along with offering alternatives such as Acupuncture and herbal medicine to give my patients the best quality care.
