Specialties
Handcrafted Artisan Preserves and spreads without the addition of sugar, artificial sweeteners or preservatives. Just real fruit.
History
Established in 2009.
Butcher’s Bunches begin on a vine, or on a tree, laden with plump, naturally sweet fruits just waiting to be plucked and preserved.
When you taste our jams and preserves you’re tasting the blush of summer, often blended with unexpected but beguiling partners. Amano Artisan Chocolate of Orem, Utah. Brilliant whiskey blends from Park City Utah’s High West Distillery. Fine Amaretto. Madagascar vanilla beans. Carefully selected spices. Most of the time we add no sugar at all, but when we do, it’s just a whisper of Muscavado or the sugar that is part of a fine blended ingredient. We never, ever use sugar substitutes.
When we finish working our magic, there’s nothing ordinary about what’s in the jar. Fruit meets creativity and the results are simply delectable.
Meet the Business Owner
Kenneth B.
Business Owner
For years the Butcher Bunch sold produce from their garden at the Cache Valley Gardener’s Market, until one day, Liz (mom) decided to create an all-natural jam, without added sugar or artificial ingredients. She saw it as a way to support other local growers, and as a way to provide for Kenneth Butcher’s future needs. Kenneth Butcher has multiple disabilities and this is something that concern’s the family deeply.
«What’s going to happen to Kenneth when there’s no Social Security, or we’re not around?» «Initially this was supposed to be something for him when we’re gone. If something happens to us, it’s all for Kenneth.»
Liz started making jam, and people loved it, she said, because it tasted like fruit, not sugar.
Kenneth is involved in the business as much as possible, Liz said, and he names most of the jams. Because he loves music, most of them have a musical reference, i.e. «Back in Black» and «Dirty Diana.»
«Kenneth is really what it’s all about,» «He’s in every jar of jam.»
