Small winery worth the stop. Try the Zin and Barbara and stay for the stories and warm reception from Vic, Carrie and the family doggies!

First time visit and we really enjoyed it! The owners Vic and Carrie, and Janice who was pouring, are super nice and warm, great people. Wines were good, especially liked the old dirt Cab, left with a bottle. Will definitely be back with friends. Their upcoming event schedule, with live music, sounds fun.

Great experience. Would highly recommend visiting. The wines were all very well done and nicely balanced. Got to chat with the owners who were very friendly. We had our dog with us and they brought out a big water bowl for him. Overall really nice laid back tasting room experience.

The people couldn’t have been nicer, the wine was great, and the place is nice. What more could you ask for? I especially liked the rose, the cab, and the zin. The people here are most definitely dog lovers. Can’t wait to return with my Golden. Nice little place with lots of charm. Everything you would expect from a small Lodi winery.

Liked the old dirt cab Left with one of the tastiest, most gentle flavored sav blancs ever. They love them some dogs here.

Cute little boutique winery… hadn’t been to this particular winery in our previous trips to Lodi to restock our wines, but very glad we stopped by. Their reds were very good, and we ended up taking home a bottle of the Merlot. If y’all get the chance, stop by this gem of a place :)

Love them! It’s a smaller winery, but they are so nice and personable. They want to make your experience great, their prices are just right, and their wine is amazing and continues to get better with age.

Only four wines available to taste, but they were wonderful! We came with a large group(15) which I recognize is not ideal, especially for a small winery that doesn’t have any tasting fees, but they were SO kind and accommodating. We tried to make up for it by buying several bottles of wine. Our limo driver had never been to Vicarmont, despite having driven in Lodi for 10 years. Check out this hidden little gem! And be sure to say hi to Shadow, their beautiful and loving black lab.

We have heard the name before and seen it on the tasting map several times but never made it in the prior 100 times we’ve been to Lodi. We finally made it a point to go in yesterday and we will definitely be going back in from time to time. They have a cute little tasting room with a Lodi-mandatory tasting room dog(it seems everyone down there has one and I am not complaining about that). We chatted a bit with the owners about their product, their process, their business, their dog, etc. Talk about some really nice, friendly people! Now, let’s get to the wines. They have only 4 to taste from, although it sounded like there will be a few more in the future. There is a merlot, zin, sauv blanc, and rose. We liked all of them, but ended up getting a bottle each of the sauv and rose. Both light, crisp, and good patio drinking wine. The zin was fruit forward, robust, and peppery. Even the merlot was good! And I’m not a person who likes merlots(even before«Sideways» came out and we were all told not to drink merlot). It was big for a merlot and actually had some structure to it all the way to the finish. Everything was between $ 14 and $ 18, I think. Very affordable and a good bargain for the value. I suggest giving them a try if you’re in the area. Even if to just drop in and chat for a minute.
