TCR Wheel Lacing

I wouldn’t take my wheels here if my life depended on it. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. The wheels had spokes that had vise grip damage. So, work was less than professional, when I pointed it out and asked to have them replaced, I got verbally abused. How he is still in business is a head scratcher.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE HANDS-​DOWN
They Treat customer like there in the wrong when, there 100% at fault
90% problem was with Kim the secretary worst customer service & attitude ever!
Try to tell me I’m in the wrong for them not giving me a estimate prior to doing work.
I have been a customer for years & have recommended many friends to Troy @tcr
However since this last experience I will no longer due so. I took in 17 small items (bolts, brake clamp, dip stick, etc) for anodizing. BIG MISTAKE… although they may do good work, there price reflects that 4x over the competition. They did not call to give me a price prior to doing work, yet called me when it was done & said they wanted $ 230 for anodizing $ 200 worth of parts… FYI California law states that a estimate must be given «prior» to any work being done. clearly they do not oblige to these rules, so beware!! Be sure to get a estimate before you leave the building.
The bottom line I got from Troy was «why do I want to spend 2 hours cleaning parts/​anodizing making $ 80 a hr when I can build 2 sets of wheels for $ 1000 2 hrs
my response that’s business… can’t always make that $ 500 a hour on every job.
Bottom line the motocross community is very small & word of mouth can be your best friend or your worst enemy & from what I’ve been hearing there’s a lot of people feeling like me. Don’t burn 2 many bridges or you may not be able to get to you castle
