Went to him for a consultation. Within minutes of being in the back office (which was dirty), I had long sticks sticking out of my foot. Dr. Stroh did not explain anything, and did not discuss costs. Several questions went unanswered. A «consultation» implies question and answers. This did not happen. I believe also that ethics requires an explanation before diving in. I went there to be told what he recommended, and then to decide what to do. That is not how it works in his office. Once you are there, they just kind of ramrod it. To add insult to injury, they managed to break every little thing down to bill separately for it. I was in the office for 30 minutes, seen by the Doctor for well less than half that time, and the bill was over $ 1,000. They found things to add to bill later that they did not bill for initially. They billed for one «procedure» that I dispute was even done (I know this because what they billed to «remove» is still in my foot). Besides the ethics of how he handles his practice, his staff is very difficult to deal with when there is a problem.

I bring my dad here and he receives top notch service. The staff and the doctor are always courtesy and service is fairly prompt.

Met with Dr Shock, super nice and explained everything to me in terms that really made sense. Came recommended to me and I know why. If you have feet issues see Dr Shock.
After surgery I experienced several issues. The dr said he would get back to me about the material used in my surgery. I have never heard back from him. DO NOT USE THIS DR. GO SOME WHERE ELSE. HERE I AM 2 YEARS LATER AND STILL DEALING WITH IT AND WILL PROBABLY HAVE SUTTER FIX IT NEXY YEAR …

I’m from out of town and I flew in to Sacramento and met with family in Lodi Ca. Dr. Stroh came highly recommended from family.
Dr. Stroh met with me right away and addressed my foot care needs and fitted me with orthotics. He spent a great deal of time explaining the problems i faced and completely and thoroughly answered all my questions with regards to my foot pain.

, Dr. Stroh is an Ass. Rude, abrupt. If you dont want the surgery he pushes on you he blows you off. Accused me of being addicted to drugs and I didnt even ask him for ANYTHING. If your serious about your foot pain DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!
