I came in today, I told him that it was the first time I had been here and so he recommended the steak platter Then I asked if they had dolma, because I didnt see it on the menu, but Its one of the my most favorite things so I had to ask. He said he would make me a salad with dolma, which sounded great. Seriously the dolma, the salad, the platter, the customer service, and everything else, was perfect. Which I wouldnt just throw that around if I didnt mean it. Delicious melt in your mouth amazing. Cant wait to come back.

Hadn’t had a Shawrma since I was in Europe 20 years ago. Had the lamb shawrma here yesterday. This is the real deal. Excellent! Great friendly service too. Highly recommend.

We originally made a stop around this area to look for a taco truck, but being Jan 1, open hours are a bit off. One of our friends then suggested greek food and we were intrigued. we came upon the restaurant and saw the mom & pop, and their adorable, friendly children. they were in the process of closing, but the owner graciously told us we can order if we planned on to-gos. I don’t have much experience w Mediterranean/middle eastern food, but my friend sold me on the shawarma when be said it’s similar to a burrito. ok, pretty much anything in a wrap has the great potential of being awesome :) The three orders came out timely and my lamb shawarma was such a great idea! The meat was soft and flavorful without being too salty nor greasy. There was a good ratio of veggies and white sauce to the meat. I just wish I had taken some hot sauce to dip every bite in to make it even more perfect each time. That whole night, while barhopping in downtown sac, I annoyed my bf by saying I wanted moar shawarmas.

We were looking for someplace to eat on the way from Stockton to Sacramento but, didn’t want the typical fast food or Dennys. I always use Unilocal to find little mom and pop places. We were fortunate to find this place. The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful with recommending menu items. The food came out and was terrific. We ordered a combo platter with chicken and lamb, a combo platter with chicken and a chicken shawarma wrap. Warm homemade pita bread, basmati rice cooked to perfection, the meat was perfectly seasoned and tender. The place is not fancy but the prices are a bargain for the amount of food you get. If you like middle eastern or greek food or have never tried it give this place a try. It’s 2 minutes off the freeway North of Kettleman Ln. on Cherokee tucked back in the corner of the shopping center. We will definitely be a repeat customer, Just a side note this was New Year’s eve, it was the owner’s birthday and he was getting ready to close early but graciously stayed open another 30 – 40 mins to serve us. Thanks for the treat!

Excellent value for some very tasty middle eastern food. Nothing fancy, just good food with friendly service.

I am surprised that this town has an Afghan restaurant in the first place. Having said that, I still prefer kabob restaurants in Elk Grove and Sacramento over this restaurant. My chicken kabob was tender like I expected but had no flavor. I asked for medium spice on purpose and still felt like I needed tzatziki sauce to dunk each piece into. I recommend asking for extra tzatziki sauce if you’re going to do a kabob platter with meat and salad only. I like that they can tailor to my low-carb diet but I need a cup of sauce to help with the flavor. Food was prepared pretty quickly but service was pretty lackluster. We went up to place our orders and pay and were never checked on again. I know this is one of the few, if only, kabob and gyro restaurant in Lodi so you can’t be too picky if you’re craving gyros. I would still rather drive the 30 minutes to Elk Grove and go to one of their more customer-friendly restaurants instead.

I loved this place and am happy that something like this exists in Lodi. My only gripe is that I didn’t know about it earlier. I don’t remember what I ordered but it was a type of beef, which came with rice, hummus, some fresh crisp veggies and pita bread. Everything was delicious. Service was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

This is easily my favourite spot for Mediterranean/halal food. Everyone is so nice there. Friendly staff, smiles all day, and oh yeah, their food… It is the good good. No, that is not a typing error. Their food incredible. The gyro is great, but my personal favourite is the shawarma. Actually, I haven’t had shawarma like their’s in years since I moved to Lodi. I have never had a bad meal there, and it’s our default spot when we get a hunger for all things Mediterranean. You really just can’t beat it in this area.

Excellent taste and flavors. Love trying new restaurants. Great value. The location was in a older shopping center and close to Motel Six. I ate vegetarian. Friendly outgoing staff. Will return when in the neighborhood.

Like the previous reviewer, we were driving down Cherokee and saw the sign for Kabob and Gyro grill. We pulled in and ordered the Lamb Plate. It was amazingly good and inexpensive! I am a Foodie through and through and was absolutely delighted to find this quality so close to home!!! The lamb was moist, correctly seasoned, and tender with a marvelous yoghurt sauce on the side, the hummus was excellent, and the pita bread fresh from the oven. We were so impressed with the quality, my daughter is stopping by on her way here to bring Gyros for lunch. Lovely anticipation!

I have only sampled the lamb when they have been at the local lodi’s farmer market a few times. It was good then and it’s better now! I ordered food to go over the phone. Wow! I didn’t even open the boxes on the way home and it smelled SO good. Got home and my husband devoured half of my beef gyro. My husband got an all chicken platter with hummos, salad, and basmati rice. I wished I ordered more because my husband ate most of it!

We ate here a couple of weeks ago. The food is okay, some pretty good and some not so much. I thought the hummus and bread were pretty good but the cucumber dip was a little too acid and the frozen french fries were not to my liking. I really remember nothing about the main course, so, neither remarkably bad or good. They were waiting for the Coca Cola distributor to show up so choice of beverages was limited. The people are pretty nice and like to talk if you break the ice. I was not wild about the building upkeep. I often enjoy old or quirky places but here the floors, the plastic table cloth… everything seemed sticky. Bathroom was kind of hard to find and not well maintained.

Not recommended for catering. The food was NOT enough. I ordered combo meal But most of the meat was chicken. I felt taken advantage of :/. Never going back.

AMAZINGSERVICE… and the food is great too! While visiting my best friend in Lodi(who had just had twins) we had a serious craving for a Gyro sandwich. With a quick Unilocal search it brought me to this wonderful little restaurant. The sweet lady running the counter was very welcoming and didn’t mind my questions. As we chatted about twin babies she told me how kind I was… and that a lot people talk down to her. I was appalled to hear this! She was nothing less than wonderful. Not sure who reads these reviews but be sure to check your attitude at the door. Everyone deserves their respect. …and the sandwich was AMAZING! It really hit the spot! Can’t wait to go back!

All I can say is awesome! We had a great experience the lady up front was helpful and the food was delicious! We had the lamb plate with salad and the lamb, the sauce and the pita bread were the best we ever had in 3 states we lived in! Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed. It is a little hole in the wall but who cares when the food is this good!

Got the combo plate today: chicken, lamb, and ground beef. Came out sizzling hot on an iron skillet. It came with humus, a salad, and rice. Enough for 2 people, the combo plate is delicious. Service could use some help but the woman working there were nice. Décor is boring and there is a flat screen TV in the corner of the restaurant. The actual restaurant is tucked away in the back right of the business complex. It’s definitely worth stopping for.

Service seems to be going downhill… just stopped in for the usual and they said they only had only one order of hummus? Ok, just make us some more… the hummus is the main reason we’re here. Nope. Just one order left… won’t make us any more… smh. We still got our food to go but it wasn’t even up to it’s normal 3 stars… I hate to see business stop caring about the customer… Probably won’t be back.

I ordered a Lamb Plate and my friend ordered a Lamb Gyro and mine was delicious! The basmati rice was awesome! The hummus was the best I have ever tasted! Everything was so authentic and healthy. I would definitely come back here and introduce more people to it.

Deliciousness in a wrap! This place is the bomb! Definitely the best place we found while driving through Lodi. The atmosphere isn’t 5 star, but it’s very clean, and the food more than makes up for it. It was a bit hard to find, but it ended up being in the back of the center, on the right. Highly recommended!

Probably the best lamb platter I’ve ever had! Affordable prices($ 5 for gyro, $ 8 for platter) not too crowded, huge portions, friendly service; however, it looks really sketchy. They also have American food for those friends who are unwilling to try new things. I had the falafel and lamb platter, which had delicious lamb, rice, salad, hummus, and pita bread! Everything was so amazing that I finished it all in one sitting.
