Well, this is my first time here. I am DD so I’m sober and completely disgusted. The bus boys are drunker than shit, the bartenders are giving away free drinks, and the hallway to the bathroom smells like pee. Like really bad. I hope ABC comes and takes a look at this place soon.

Bartenders don’t know their drinks and have incredibly rude customer service. I asked for a water and was told they don’t serve water. The guy was a real jerk. The other bartenders wouldn’t even acknowledge us. I was with a group of 6 people too. We w o update have bought more drinks but we were all disgusted with the rude and egotistical service. I would never go back to this place nor would recommend it to anyone. This bar caters to the lowly and ignorant in spirit. The only difference between this place and McDonald’s is that McDonald’s has good customer service. The epitome of garbage and zero care for customer service.

Love to go to this place! However last night was our first bad experience! They’re open until 2am but they started yelling at people and telling them to «get the f*ck out!» at 1:20am last night! It was a good night until that point. Pretty disappointed with that and for that reason, I give this place 3 stars. For this visit. All the other times I’ve been there, it’s been a 5 star experience!

Bartender gave shit service yelling at door man for letting us in. Then refused to serve us at 1:20 am. He had a shitty attitude. Pretty rude. This was on a Tuesday night.

So hate to have to be a «negative Nancy» however this place is now so unprofessional and ridiculous! First of all it’s ran by a bunch of young«kids» who are very immature and petty! There’s only one decent kind employee who’s mature, Jerry is awesome. With that said the bouncer, manager(Jon) and Dj Friday and sometimes Saturday nights(Steven Curry) are the most unprofessional, rude, and immature poor excuse for a male I’ve ever dealt with. First off I’ll say I was stupid enough to «date» the Dj. As a Dj I should of known better Long story short broke up cause he’s a lying cheater. After that he approached the crew and apparently said he doesn’t want me in there cause it’s his hangout. Went in with group of friends Mardi Gras night and was told by the manager who was off duty to leave. I said why? He said there was«paperwork» and sweetie we can’t have you here any longer. First of all don’t say sweetie. Second there was no paperwork. So ridiculous. So we left and went to one of the many other bars which are NICERBTW. Then passing by this last weekend my friends brother went to walk in and she said oh Tasha can’t go in I said yeah cause the Dj can’t handle my existence(note the Dj wasn’t even there that night) the rude bouncer said yup! Keep on walking girl. WHAT!!! Rude!!! Bar is filled with a bunch of immature idiots trying to take advantage of girls. I’d say stay away from the bar and the DJESPECIALLY!!! Unless only Jerry is working. The rest are Losers with an ego and power trip

Garry’s it’s the kind of place that you can go into any time of day or evening, in the early part of the day you will find the locals and ol’ timers that hang out until just around dinner time. In the evening depending on what day of the week it is you will find a crowd of every flavor. As of late, I have found that Garry’s is also a great and friendly Gay/Lesbian hangout. Love Ashley, Chris, and Amin, they make this a place I enjoy going to over and over.

I have been in here a couple of time before and had a great experience but sense it has gone under new management this place is going down hill fast. I had gone in there with a few friends from out of town we were checking out the farmers market got a little thirsty so decided to stop by Garry’s. The bartender comes up asked what we wanted and walked away no hello not a hi how are you doing nothing! It wasn’t even that busy in there either. So we drink are drinks and had to single the bartender for another cause he was really busy on his phone I then asked his name and he replied Scott I asked if Chris had still worked there he replied no I’m the manager. I think it made him a bit angry because after that we didn’t get served any longer. So we walked out and went else were. So as for Garry’s lounge I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are very rude and need some training on customer service.

Yes, I am giving this bar only 2 stars. I’ve been here several times. It seems like each time, my experiences are less and less favorable. So, last night I took my friend from Reno out to some«Lodi» bars. I thought Garry’s would be a fun place to start. I was completely wrong. The bartender was having a rough night, I will give her that. However, that’s not my problem. We ordered our drinks. My friend got a beer & I got the worse mix drink I have ever tasted. It took a long time for the draft beer to be poured & I could see the bartender kind of hiding the flow of the beer, which I thought was weird, but whatever. My friend drank her flat beer & I tried to drink my mixed drink but it was just gross. When I told the bartender that my drink was too sweet, she told me that I ordered a sweet drink so what did I expect. I laughed it off but I thought it was completely rude. When my friend ordered her second beer. This is when the bartender says that her CO2 was out & she did not know how to change it. So, there was no beer. She didn’t offer my friend anything else in place of draft beer. So, we left & ventured out to some other«Lodi» bars & had a better experience.

Garry’s is a classic. One of Lodi’s originals! Dark and musky on the inside, equipped with a jukebox, a couple of pool tables and a few friendly bartenders. Garry’s used to be a place that only old men would frequent. Those days are long gone. Garry’s attracts a good mix of young and old. In fact, on a Friday or Saturday night you may have to arrive early if you don’t want to be stuck without a place to sit. A great place to stop in for a drink!

If I were scoring the bar alone, it might get two stars. However, Chris is awesome. so it gets a five. Pretty please fix the juke box back to where it was, otherwise its all country bitches!!!

My fiancé and I wandered in here mid afternoon, mid week. Old men sitting around and was super quiet. The bartender named Mike was extremely friendly and talked to us like we have been friends forever. $ 4 beer. Super friendly folks. Cute old men playing some dice game. There’s a freakin PIANO! I felt like I was in Cheers and I liked it!

Aw, yes… Garry’s Lounge. Garry’s is pretty much what a Lodi bar should be– a comfy dive with cheap drinks, great jukebox, and a pool table. The drinks aren’t the stiffest around, but for the price they do the job. A good age mix populate the place too. I often run into someone I haven’t seen in forever there, which is pretty cool.
I considered giving the places 5 stars simply for having NATURALLIGHTONTAP. HAHA! I’ve never seen that before. Actually, that should probably be a negative star, but eh… it’s a cool place to hang out with friends.

Good little bar with cheap drinks and friendly people. They have an Internet Jukebox which is a blast because you hear all styles of music throughout the night. The décor is very bland and a bit dated, but it is always clean. The older regulars come in during the day and stay until about 8:30. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights the place gets very crowded and the age group is more like 21 – 35. Garry’s is always a fun place to hangout!
