I canceled 3 memberships (mine, my daughter and her friend) more than 7 months ago. Blink kept charging my card. I called the bank and disputed the transactions and had blink blocked from charging my card (after faxing them my cancellation forms) I still get calls repeatedly on a daily basis from blink saying they are trying to charge my card and are unable to. I called blink today for the 3^rd time telling them to cancel my memberships. A girl who had no idea how to answer a phone put me on hold only to transfer me to a male who was very short with me stating «you never canceled your membership because if you did, it would show on the account» when I told him that I did candle all three accounts (done on the same day) and they did cancel one correctly but left the other 2 open, he proceeded to just keep telling me I was wrong instead of looking into it. Then he told me that he didn’t really know what else to tell me because he’s not a manager. When I asked for a manager, I was told that the store (run entirely by teenagers) operates without a manager on duty most days and one would have to call me back.
This place is a disaster waiting to happen. I can’t imagine what type of business would operate on a daily basis with no supervision of teenage staff.

Update: left 2 messages for management to call me back and it’s been 6 days with no contact yet I’m still recovering automated calls from blink. Really not good blink.
2^nd update. Still no return phone call from blink so I called them AGAIN. Got a manager this time. Last kid left a note on my account stating that I was calling because I didn’t close my accounts properly. Nope. That’s wrong. I was calling because the gym manager didn’t close my accounts. Manager stated that her staff never related any of my multiple messages to her and there was no note on my account that j would like a return call. I demanded that she note my account with me on the phone with exactly what I was calling about. She said she’d return my call after she looked into it. So I guess I’ll have to call back again very soon since I don’t foresee ever getting a return call from this place. As a matter of fact, I feel like I will have to call daily until my complaint is addressed. Which also means I will have to start reviewing them daily as well. Time to call the better business bureau.

I had to cancel my membership here because I moved to another town that didn’t have any nearby locations. Nonetheless, I am giving them a 5-​star rating because they didn’t give me a hard time canceling. This gym has warm and friendly staff members that make going to the gym fun. Lisa (the really cool chick with quirky earrings) knows everyone by heart! While I was there finalizing the cancellation papers, every gym goer that came and left, she knew by name! She didn’t miss anyone. Before she scanned a guest’s card, she was already having a conversation with them. She really cared about her job and guests. Even one of the regulars came up to talk with us. It was just a good vibe there. Everything is clean and organized. It is a quiet little gym with an amazing community.

I have been to several Blink’s in the area and ive got to say this one feels like home, friendliest staff, equipment location makes sense and its not as crowded as the others.

I like this gym. It’s really cheap and you get a lot for your money. It’s pretty spacious. Machines are always available. The staff is friendly and the locker rooms are pretty tidy. The parking lot is huge. Only 4 stars because I wish there was a pool and it gets hot in there occaisonally.

This gym has been nothing but wonderful for me. I like the fact that you can bring a guest each time included with the package. Everyone I bring comments on how nice this gym is and it’s rarely crowded. I go from times ranging at 8am to 6pm rush hour. There is always a free machine and it is not an intimidating gym. Everyone kind of does their business but there is no fear of being looked at in a weird way. I also joined this gym to get away from my hometown gym which is packed, and usually a high school reunion. I am glad I pushed myself and made this decision. I also like how the machines show you how to use them. I was new to using the machines but can look at the pictures to see what to do. Also, to anyone wanting to join this gym: it is a mixture of age groups and gender. I think that is the best part. Everyone is included and it’s not mostly male/​female, young/​older. It’s a good mix. I highly recommend this location!

I love this place! It is new, very inexpensive and the staff members are always pleasant. I have been using this gym for 18 months and it is consistent. Also the gym users are very nice. It has a friendly neighborhood vibe. People actually smile at one another. Also I like that it is a mixed crowd. Different races, different body types and different age groups. Book a training class with Xavier. He helped elevate me to the next level. I’m so happy this group of staff members are running Blink in Lodi. Thanks!

4 starts because miss a sauna and a pool!

Very clean, extremely cheap membership rates, big, nice locker rooms, and a pleasantly kind staff. Many machines to choose from, a large variety of Dumbbells and free weight benches, and a copious amount of cardio equipment. Could probably use another cable workout system and make use of the space where the smaller lockers are… there is already a designated locker room. Very user friendly gym for all levels of fitness in my opinion.

I’ve been to a few blink locations since I live in NJ and work in NY. It really is a great simple gym if you’re just interested in cardio and weight lifting. NOTE: This place is cheaper because they do not have any type of classes/​saunas. The facilities are nice, clean, and have new equipment. Obviously, some locations are larger than others and have more equipment– it just depends on the layout of the space. Avoid the rush hour evening times– the gym tends to get super packed and feels like you’re working out in a sauna.
The one thing that kind of rubbed me the wrong way is that I was randomly charged a $ 45 maintenance fee on top of my $ 25 membership one month. I had signed up back in May and didn’t get this charge until October, this is one of those clauses in the fine print that you completely forget about until you see your bank statement. It would have been nice if they sent a reminder email or something in advance.
I ended up cancelling my membership because I really got into spin classes and found a location with decent prices. When I went into the Bryant Park location the employee who assisted with my cancellation was really sweet and understanding, she didn’t pressure me to keep my membership which was nice. This is really a great deal if you’re looking for just cardio + weights.

I cant begin to say how annoyed I am with my cancellation. I cancelled over 45 days ago and they STILL charged my card. I only called 3 times and STILL never got anybody to get back to me cause I had to wait for the manager. It’s sad when they have to keep charging someone and play games like that. Let alone, the staff was never that friendly when I was going to the gym.

Has to be hands down the best gym I’ve ever visited. Very clean facility, super friendly staff. Memberships are very reasonably priced, no hidden charges and virtually no wait time. More squat and smith machines could really help, but otherwise they have everything I need for a place that is down the street from my residence. Bravo Blink, keep up the good work. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who is looking for a change from intimidating environments, dirty/​unsanitary facilities, robotic staff and over priced nonsensical membership prices

I really like this gym. For the price $ 20 a month and my needs which is mostly cardio, it’s great. I drive so there is a huge parking lot which is also great and you can bring a friend each and every time. The gym is well kept and clean. Starting to get packed in the afternoons but never had to wait in line for anything. I would give it five stars but they need more squat racks and Smith machines. Also it is very clean and staff is very cordial.

I joined Blink back in April but wanted to use the facility for a few months before writing a short review. First of all, don’t be fooled by the low monthly fee. You really get a lot more than what you are paying for. If you are looking for a gym with a gazillion amenities (like pool, sauna, exercise rooms, classes) this is not the gym for you as it’s a basic facility with a floor full of exercise equipment, a small workout /​stretching area, and shower/​locker facilities. I came to Blink after being so disappointed with a higher scale gym in the area that starting having a breakdown of essentially all of their facility. To my surprise, joining was a «blink» and was able to use the facility right away and was COMPLETELY SURPRISED HOW CLEAN THE FACILITY IS. Also, ALL of the equipment is working and is not broken. This is a huge huge point for me. The staff is constantly doing walks around the facility and ensuring everything was operational and clean. The locker rooms and showers are also VERY CLEAN. So far in the last few months i have been so so so pleased at the facility and the staff being so friendly. In fact, because I’ve been able to use the facility as planned every day I have lost about 15 lbs. Thank you Blink!

Should be 1.5 stars… first of all, I was lied to by the salesman.
When I was looking to join, the place was still very new and I had asked him about some equipment that they seemed to be missing.
Mainly, they don’t have any bench press areas. The Salesperson (Dashawn) told me they were getting new equipment later in the month. He also told me that they were going to add much more resistance equipment (weights). Its been three months, Dashawn is gone and they have not increased their weight training area.
The place gets extremely packed (not their fault, I’m just letting people know) and parking is pretty rough. (again, thats not their fault, but I am upset about being lied to).
So if you want to do nothing but cardio, this place is great. They have more than enough equipment, and the long walk from your car to the door is a great warmup.
If you want to weight train. this place is HORRIBLE. Don’t join.

Very clean! Very friendly staff! Lots of locker space, with shower. The only problem I have is having to wait for an open weight machine. Lots of young people also attend.

I started going to this location a couple of weeks ago and was happy to see that it’s as well kept as the Paramus location. I absolutely LOVE the how much sunlight there is inside and the location is convenient as both Shop Rite and the post office are right there!
