When it comes to gyms I get around if you know what I mean and I’m not feeling this place. It offers a «hit it and quit it» workout mentality and not in a good way. It’s like yo here is your workout go do it and we are going to glance over every once in awhile to make sure you didn’t die. For someone new to crossfit this is not a good starting place. Lastly, I know it’s in a warehouse but it was on the dirty side. Overall, I didn’t feel motivated to workout.

I started Bergen County Crossfit in August and I’m addicted. The workouts vary every day and I never know what to expect but I know that I’ll feel great after. It’s usually pretty quick, in and out in about ½ an hour, which is great for my busy schedule. Lily and Danny are super knowledgable, dedicated, and friendly and they’ll always help me out with my concerns. I’m pretty out of shape personally, but I don’t feel pressured there and I’m seeing great results. Some of the people there are very fit and others are more like myself, but I don’t feel shy or like I’m being judged – everyone is supportive and welcoming. It’s fun and challenging and I highly recommend!

When I moved up north I was looking for a change of atmosphere when working out. For two years I dedicated 90+ minutes to routines at the gym that I would find online, in magazines or working with a trainer. Since meeting Dan and Lilly at Bergen County CrossFit I could not be more amazed and impressed with the dedication two people have in changing peoples lives. Besides the friendliness of every single member and how welcoming everyone has been, the support you receive is far superior then anywhere else. In the last 4 months I have lost 8 pounds– but most importantly, my body fat percentage has dropped from 19.7% to just over 14%! On top of that, I have added almost 100 pounds to my max bench press. Even more, I can run distances I never dreamed of being able to complete(2.5+ miles). I was lucky If I could run for 2 minutes without having to stop prior. These results have happened with just 20 — 30 minute workouts! After suffering from terrible asthma my entire life, I never dreamed I’d be able to endure the training I do at BCCF. I have never felt better in my entire life, having little to no breathing problems, and owe it all to the dedication Dan and Lilly has provided to me. I strongly recommend anyone of any fitness level give Bergen county crossfit a try. Dan and Lilly are extremely impressive and will help you through the entire process. I will never be able to go to another gym again.

Mixed feelings about this place Lily and Danny are extremely nice and really care about there clients. As people they are awesome. You definitely feel like you belong. As far as the workout goes, it could be better. Tends to be over packed and not very organized. In my opinion they need more space. I give it a slight thumbs up but could be better.

I decided to check this place out because I was on a search to find the perfect workout. Well I’m glad I did! I love this place. The workouts are always varied. I actually get excited to come here every day and the days I can’t make it, I am disappointed! Lily and Danny are awesome and all the other clients are as well. Everyone is very friendly and the atmosphere is definitely one I appreciate. I never feel inferior when I have trouble with a workout because there is always someone willing to explain. I recommend this place to people who are looking for a new workout to fall in love with!
