Meet the Business Owner

Joel C.

Business Owner

As a teenager, Joel took great interest in his grandfather’s business and began working at the company after school, pursuing new ideas. Joel spent endless hours convincing his grandfather to expand what was then an aluminum storm window and window treatment business into a new concept in window manufacturing; the vinyl replacement window with energy efficient insulated glass.

Under Joel’s influence, in 1970’s the company began to manufacture an early version of the vinyl double hung window. The idea took off. When his grandfather retired later that decade, he left the day to day operations to Joel to run. The vinyl window market grew stronger and stronger through the 80’s & business expanded. In 1985, Joel acquired another company and merged it with the original business to form American Jewel Window Systems. With the continued support and the combined effort of Joel’s father Joseph Cuccio, and brother Todd Cuccio, Joel continues as President of American Jewel Window Systems today
