Lockport Union-Sun & Journal

I spent 3 days waking up at 4 am to collect my newspapers. I delivered 180 papers for 3 gays. I drove a total of 100 miles each day to cover the rout. I am a single mom and cannot afford daycare so I picked this route up to earn extra money. I was able to leave the kids at home (my oldest is 18 my younger ones are 14 and 3) I drive an old 8 cylinder vehicle and get maybe 10 miles to the gallon. I spent $ 148. of my own money in gas to do this route. When a child got sick and required a trip to the E. R I could not do my route that day. The Union Sun And Journal chose not to pay me for this reason and claimed all my wages were needed to pay for a sub! So not only am out my gas money I will not be paid for my work! All 3 of my children have birthdays this month… Thanks to the UNION SUN AND JOURNAL… none of those kids will get any gifts. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THE PAPER 0 STARS BUT Unilocal WONT POST THIS IF I DONT CLICK ATLEAST 1
