K-​9 Guardians is a full service K-​9 boarding and training facility located in Lockport, Illinois. We offer various training opportunities and free evaluations for numerous breeds and their handlers. Owner Gary Tippett is a certified behavioral consultant, and he has the experience and skill to train even the most stubborn and unruly dogs, that other kennels may not even accept.

Established in 1986.

K-​9 Guardians, Inc., in Lockport, IL, is the area’s premier pet training facility serving all of Lockport and Joliet since 1980. We offer dog training boot camp and obedience classes for problem dogs that other trainers won’t take. We also offer doggie day camp and dog boarding. No dog is too much for us to handle! Manager

Gary has been training dogs for over 40 years. He has worked with multiple police departments and help trained K-​9 officers and drug and bomb sniffing dogs. He also has experience training service and therapy dogs.
