History

Established in 2005.

Established in Lockhart, Texas in 2005 and acquired full ownership in Luling, Texas in 2007. Our motto is «Striving to exceed client expectations». It is our philosophy to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care to our patients while simultaneously treating the needs and expectations of our clients at an equal and compassionate level.

Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic has two locations. Our Lockhart location mainly provides services for our small animals while our Luling location can handle any small or large animal need. Along with our medical services also we have a professional groomer and a new spacious boarding facility in Lockhart.

Whether you have a new puppy, or are dealing with an emergency situation we are prepared to care for your pets and animal health care needs.

Dr. Golla returned to central Texas after leaving in 1992 to pursue his education at Texas A&M University. He holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Animal Science and Veterinary Science, a Master’s Degree in Animal Science. Dr. Golla graduated from Veterinary School in 2001. After spending time learning from a great set of mentors in Brenham and Wharton, Dr. Golla returned to fulfill his dream of veterinary practice with ownership. He enjoys life in a small, growing community with his family. He is proud of the people he works with, the clients he serves and the community he lives in. His passion is raising his children with his awesome wife and is motivated by their presence in his life. He dreams of building a veterinary practice to support the needs of the community with a group of colleagues and employees that are proud to be part of the team.
