H & M Spirits

Not a very good selection and sort of expensive. That’s pretty much how I sum up H & M Spirits. The staff is nice enough, it’s easy to find, and fills a much needed niche in the area, as there aren’t any other stores nearby to buy a last minute bottle of wine or liquor.
They have a small selection of a few well known California wine producers, with the major varieties available, and one or two interesting vintages.
So, if you need a bottle of low to mid range chardonnay or pinot noir, or a bottle of Jack Daniels or Johnny Walker you should be able to find it, but you won’t be finding anything truly exceptional or different, and you’ll be paying for the convenience of having the store in Lobelville. If you’re coming in from out of town, I would recommend bringing your own bottle from somewhere with better selection, that or driving on to Linden and getting something from the slightly better selection available at the store on Courthouse Square.
