I am a self declared pasty expert. I grew up in Cornwall, a county in England where the miners’ pasties were«invented». After years of eating all kinds, I can confidently say, Weldon’s pasties are some of the BEST outside of Cornwall. Delicious.

Just had one for dinner. Yecch. Meat is very grisley and turns my stomach. They were quite good a few years ago. Pity. I will be tossing the rest.

These are some of the best pasties you can buy in lower Michigan. Everything is made from scratch. Plus they keep well and you can freeze them.

They are almost as good as my grandmother’s and mine :)) Best I’ve had from a shop! Way better than U.P. pasties.

Very good pasties, little small but a lot of flavor & with the cost of food these days, I think that is probably why they are a little small. Highly recommend this place!!!

I’m by no means a pasty expert but these were really good! The day I went in they only had the beef but they also make chicken and vegetable pasties. The store front is carry out only and if it weren’t for the signage you probably would never guess that they make scrumptious pasties on site. All the store has is a counter, a register, the menu board and a pop cooler. The gentleman running the store is friendly and obviously good at his profession. The pasties were warm, had a flaky/crispy crust and plenty of hearty veggies to compliment the beef. Also they weigh in at over a ½ pound each so one should set you just about right. I bought two for just under $ 10…money well spent! I’d recommend a side of the gravy for dipping FYI. Credit cards accepted too.
