Time Too Savor

This is the reason Groupon exists.
I first tried Time Too Savor with a Groupon and brought a friend with me, since I didn’t know what to expect and was afraid I’d be embarrassed with my can’t-even-make-pasta cooking skills. This was in February I think, and we now have monthly friend dates here preparing meals together.
This place is an awesome idea. It allows me to have foods that I would NEVER be able to make on my own. Out of the many meals I’ve had here, one or two have been so-​so, and the rest have been outstanding. I especially recommend the fiesta chicken. My boyfriend gets so excited when I have an appointment coming up, because he knows that means I’m going to cook for him and we’re going to eat good food (he tends to subsist on frozen pizzas as well– birds of a feather flock together, right??).
I highly recommend Time Too Savor to anyone who isn’t already a chef. Great food, and fun to prepare too :)

I am a culinary idiot. Dinners in our house generally consist of take out, grilling out, microwaving, pizza or something that is extremely easy (and not always healthy). Brian (the owner of Time too Savor) offers fantastic options for those of us who don’t care to cook, don’t have time to cook, or just don’t know how. The meals are healthy, tasty and quick/​easy to prepare!
There are several things I appreciate about Time Too Savor… number one being how clean and sanitary Brian keeps everything! He very thoroughly explains how the process works and how to keep things clean and sanitized.
The second thing I appreciate is the ease of it all! You order your meals on line, show up, follow the easy instructions and off you go!
This is a great place to stop if you don’t like or have time to cook!!!

I found them through their Groupon offer. The concept interested me — a freezer of pre-​made meals, ready to thaw and cook. I loved the prep work that went into my 8 meals, but I love prep at home too. For those of you who cringe when you see a set of measuring spoons, aka Ken, this place could make you hyperventilate. They truly set up each station to allow you to easily go about your business, and they keep the people working at the same time to the correct number.
Now, for the taste. 3 stars average. I had to doctor practically every dish to match our tastes (fresh herbs and spices mostly). I appreciated that we had so much ready in the freezer, and Ken could follow the very easy instructions.
I would recommend TTS to any couple or family that is looking to do more home cooked meals with ingredients you’ll know everything about. The Groupon makes it even more… er…palatable.

I bought a Groupon to try out Time Too Savor. I didn’t read the fine print before buying the Groupon, so I didn’t realize that I had to make an appointment and pre-​order, which put me off a little, but shouldn’t have.
Making an appointment and ordering is easy via the website, and the variety of dishes to choose from is good. If I remember correctly, 14 different recipes are offered monthly. About half are chicken, with the remainder split between beef, pork, and chicken.
The owner, Brian, made me feel completely at home when I arrived for my appointment. He did a great job explaining the process and then left me to do my thing. And my thing (and yours if you go) is simply this: Follow the crystal clear instructions to assemble and package your chosen meal (s).
Ironically, I didn’t feel like cooking when I got home, so I’ll be trying my first meal tonight. If it’s as good as I think it will be, I’ll definitely become a regular.

I recently purchased a Groupon deal to try out Time to Savor. I have used other chains in the past for meal prep and have always enjoyed the experience. I was a new customer with Time to Savor.
The Store is extremely clean and well lit. The staff were friendly and informative and even offered a beverage (canned soda) while we worked. The stations are spotless and spacious.
The menu was diverse and contained recipes that would suit any taste or diet. I especially appreciated the nutritional information as I am currently doing Weight Watchers. There were plenty of meals that fit my diet plan, and since the meals are specific to a few portions it is much easier to stick to my diet.
My fiancé and I had a great time doing the meal prep. It was super easy, fun, and the environment was upbeat. When we were done the manager (owner?) presented us with a nice refrigerator magnet clip that held a list of the meals we created and a $ 20.00 coupon for our next visit. It was a small detail that I thought was a nice personal touch.
The meals once prepared at home were delish — instructions were very simple and easy to follow. I loved that when I got home at the end of the day with two tired, hungry eight year old kids that I had no decisions to make regarding dinner. It was just pull it out and follow the instructions. No chopping, no prepping, just cook it up. All the convenience of a commercially prepared entrée with none of the terrible preservatives and high sodium content.
¹⁰⁄₁₀ — would recommend. This would also be a nice girls evening out group activity.

As a customer for several years, I can’t tell you how pleased I am with not only with some of the best meals I’ve ever had (and certainly better than most things I would cook on my own) but also the incredible customer service. Brain and his team are a throwback to the days when business owners truly cared about their customers.
I’ve tried other similar food prep companies with mixed results, but in the years I’ve been coming to Time Too Savor, I’ve not once had a meal that I wouldn’t give at least 4 stars. As a Nurse and single mom, I love that the meals are healthy, flavorful, easy to prepare with quick cooking times and cleanup, but best of all my 2 ½ year old happily eats them!
Also, if you figure out the per serving price, you can’t beat the vaule for a healthy home cooked meal. . not to mention the time savings of not having to grocery shop, clean up or the waste from throwing away unused ingredients/​food.

Time Too Savor is the real deal! Brian has great recipes that are easy, delicious, and never disappoint. He is also pleasant and helpful. It’s not the least expensive meal, but it is quality for the price.
