Professional & affordable. Jeff came on a last minute, weeknight evening call & solved our situation in under two hours. He was honest about the complications he encountered with my furnace, but kept his cool & his determination to solve the problem. I also couldn’t believe how affordable it was in comparison to the other servicers we had contacted. I hope we can count on him if any other problems arise with my old crappy furnace again.

Our air conditioner was almost running non-​stop, and not cooling the house down. Jeff came by to check out and as I expected, we were low on freon. The system was so low that the a/​c was freezing up inside and out. Jeff diagnosed the issue on day one, and came by on the next day after the ice melted and added the necessary freon to get the system up and running. Jeff was very professional and knowledgeable, and explained what needed to be done. Very pleased with the entire experience.

Ryan of AFM came over on the same day I called (Sunday), and was very professional. He quickly figured out the problem with my Air Conditioning unit, replaced a faluty part, and checked on leakage that I mentioned to him as well. Before he left he assured me I could call any time, and he would return to fix the problem. The price was very reasonable. He phoned the following day to make sure all was working properly.
In short, he did an excellent job. I would definitely recommend AFM.

Jeff was great! It was a really hot day and I knew there would be a wait to get my air fixed. Jeff came out to my house even after a long work day, diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly, at a very reasonable price. I will call again for any of my furnace or air problems.

Our furnace died on one of the coldest days of the winter (Feb 2015). No other company was available to come out… this should have been our first clue to what we were in for. We needed a new furnace and unfortunately couldn’t wait. The workers were very unprofessional and messy. They dragged our old furnace out and scratched the wood floor doing so… most reputable contractors put down rubber mats to walk on. Instead of disconnecting the air conditioning unit away from the furnace, they cut the cord and then hid what they had done. Come May when we needed to turn the air on, of course it didn’t work. We needed a new air conditioner and the contractor who installed this, basically had to re-​do what AFM had done so that the furnace would be level enough to install a new A-​coil for the air. Horrible customer service, rude and messy workers who do hack work. Don’t call this company. Seriously… look at the only 5 star review… this person is from Wisconsin?

Our AC condenser went out. Technician did a great job with diagnosing the problem, however he was dishonest about a knowing that we did not have a warranty, and the price of just replacing the condenser.
We were told 1.) that our 7 yr old condenser was out of manufacturer warranty, and 2.) that there is only a few hundred dollar difference between replacing the entire unit & just the condenser, so obviously my husband took the bait & was all set to buy a $ 1800 unit. It wasn’t until he called a few other local places that he found out that neither of it was true! Our unit WAS UNDER A 10 year manuf. warranty, and it was MUCH CHEAPER to just replace just the condenser vs. the entire $ 1800 unit.
Buyer Beware… true salesmen, and not all are honest.

Was very happy with our service. Jeff and his team made my situation a priority. Great communication and diagnosed the issue quickly and accurately. Advised me of my options and quoted a fair price for furnace and AC install. Will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs quick service or emergency situation. So happy I called them.

Not a great experience. Left a request on the website and was contacted promptly. Set up a time almost immediately and they were out right away. The service guy showed up in an in-​marked regular car with no uniform, I wasn’t even sure I should let him in. Told him the problem and he went to work. Gave me no estimate then charged me $ 125 after he took my burner unit off and ran it under hot water. $ 85 for the service cal and $ 40 for 20 minutes of «labor». A bit ridiculous. Will not use them again.

What a wonderful experience w AFM Heating and Cooling! We had to replace both our AC and Furnace and were so pleased with the company, owner (Jeff), installation and finished product! Phil (sales) came out and informed us that our previous unit was too small for our house… which we knew since the roof line had been raised. The new unit they installed has proven to provide significant cooling the first time we turned it on. We are extremely pleased with the quality of work! They were all so professional, clean and mindful that we had small children in the house while they were working! I would highly recommend this company to my family & friends!!!

First call to AFM Heating & Cooling went great, got a good price & I felt confident so we setup a good day for both of us for an install the following week. Jeff requested I send him an email with my address so I did. Jeff never replyed to confirm he received it, which I thought was odd. Jeff had mentioned that I should follow up with him the day prior to our appointment– so I did & asked him if he got the email. He didn’t remember! So I once again confirmed our conversation/​order from the previous wk, he said yup, no problem he will be there tomorrow. So, I got off work early the next day and waited for him to show, finally called him 40 minutes after the appointment time to see what was up… he forgot and was on some roof somewhere. Very scattered and unprofessional– buyer beware.

Holy cow… could not have been better!
I flew in the night before my father was scheduled to have a major surgery to find that his air conditioning had just gone down. In August. As we were planning on having both him and another member of our family recovering at our house for the next week, this wasn’t going to fly. I found AFM Heating & Cooling after a quick internet search and called them. It was after 5pm but they picked up right away. I explained the situation and they said they could come the next morning at 10am.
The next morning they called at 9:30am and were here by 9:45am. They QUICKLY diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote, fixed and recharged the AC, and replaced our air filter. I literally could not believe how cheap and quick it was.
What a relief! THANKS!
