In addition to baking the freshest traditional pretzels, we offer other specialties including cinnamon sugar pretzels, mini pretzels, rivets (bite-​size pretzel nuggets), pretzel dogs, pepperoni melts and delicious dips.

Our nut-​free pretzels are wholesale priced to sell for fundraisers, at school events and to include at the concession stand at local sporting events. In addition, our party trays are sure to be a hit at your next BBQ, party or tailgate. Custom pretzels in any shape (numbers, letters, logos, etc.) are definitely fun to serve and eat. Be your office’s favorite colleague when you bring in a «crowd pleaser» to share (25 pretzels and your choice of a bottle of mustard or an 8 oz. dip). The pretzel possibilities are endless!

History

Established in 2013.

Come visit us at 21 West Mt. Pleasant Avenue (in the Elks Building, next to the Post Office) where our pretzels and specialties are hand-​twisted and baked fresh throughout the day. Plenty of parking in the adjacent lot on the side of the building.

Love these pretzels and would rate 5 stars but normally they’ll make everything pretzels. This time I was told they never do that when I’ve always gotten them that way. Only my second time at this location but it’s the closest. I’ll miss those everything pretzels!!!

Love the pretzels but need to be more attentive to customers. I went in one day and waited 5 minutes, rung the bell several times and left as nobody came to help me. I could have robbed the place and nobody would have known. They should lock the door if nobody is there or staff is taking a break. Poor customer service.

Love this place. Nothing better than a pretzel with cheese sauce. Another reviewer mentioned mall pretzels that are buttery and greasy which I absolutely hate. This is not that kind of pretzel. Always warm and soft.
I’ve been back at least 10 times and I’ve never been disappointed. And the pricing is really good. I’ve gotten boxes for parties many times and they go pretty quickly.

Love this place! Pretzels are delicious and not greasy. Employees and management are always available and professional. I consistently use this location to get pretzels for some of my vendors for work. Most people do coffee and donuts no one ever gets pretzels — easy way to stand out!

Soooo good! They don’t have that greasy, buttery feel like the mall pretzel places do. They also weren’t soggy and I had gotten two salt pretzels fresh out of the oven. Their cinnamon dipping sauce is to die for! Must go! I’ll put pricing below.

We served these pretzels for the after party for our wedding, and it was one of the best wedding-​related decisions we made.
After a long day of ceremonies, dancing, and drinking, fresh pretzels with a variety of dipping sauces really hit the spot. They even baked them in the shape of our initials, with some hearts thrown in, as well. Pretzels seem like a totally random idea, but our guests absolutely loved it. Everyone thought it was a unique and surprisingly satisfying touch.
I highly recommend this place for parties, especially if alcohol is involved.

Customer Service and a great product.
I live in Oregon and have a teenage nephew who is in the hospital in NJ. I wanted to get something to him that he would enjoy and the Philly pretzel factory was what he asked for.
I called, asking if they deliver. The gentleman who answered, said he’d have the owner — manager call me back because she was the only one who did deliveries.
I really didn’t have any expectation that I’d get a call back. Twenty minutes later, a women called me, asked what I needed. I asked if they could deliver pretzels that same day to the children’s hospital a few towns away. It was already afternoon there but she didn’t hesitate to say yes! She took my order, emailed me a copy of the receipt and said that she was delivering another order to the same hospital and would personally deliver them to my nephew!
Thank you for great service! and Wish I could get those pretzels in Oregon!

We’ve ordered Pretzel platters from this store on multiple occasions and when we go to pick it up on the date and time that’s written on the order, it’s never ready and causes us to have to wait for them to make a platter, or better yet, the worker takes someone else’s platter and gave it to us.. The store need to work out their issues if they want to stay in business.

Originally being from Philadelphia, these pretzels come as close as you can get without actually buying them on the street in the city. They have almost the perfect consistency and shape of the original pretzel that you would find in Philadelphia and the taste is fantastic. These pretzels are best eaten very hot and with a generous amount of yellow mustard (they have a good hot German and brown mustard, but being a purist the only mustard I put on my pretzels is yellow). I have read some of the other reviews that tout the Auntie Annie’s pretzels, but it all as a matter of taste because these pretzels aren’t intended to taste like a butter covered hot bread. I have also heard a number of people say that they get them without salt which is obviously great for your health, but awful if you want to experience a real Philadelphia soft pretzel. The only thing that I would say to avoid is the dipping sauces like the cheese. The time I tried the melted cheese it had a very processed taste almost to the point of being rancid. If you want a cheesy taste on these pretzels I would suggest preparing them like they do in South Philadelphia by sprinkling them with grated Parmesan cheese and popping them in the oven until the cheese has melted and turned a little brown. Delicious! One final suggestion, when you are reheating pretzels that have been around for a couple of data and started to harden, do it a microwave oven and not a traditional oven because they will come out soft and warm, just like when they were first made. Bön appétit!

Sick of bringing the same dips and apps to parties, I had the genius idea to bring a platter of pretzel nuggets to a New Year’s Eve party! What a win! The pretzels were warm and super soft and ridiculously cheap — $ 30 for a platter of like 130 nuggets with three different dipping sauce; not to mention delicious! Everyone loved them, and they were fantastic for the kiddies too! I have continued ordering the platters for parties and have popped in when I’ve got a hot pretzel fix.
The staff is very friendly, including the owner/​manager, Jen. On NYE, it was complete chaos and pre-​ordered platters took over an hour to get; some people didn’t even get their order. It was enough to never go back. But Jen called me personally and offered me a discount on my next party tray purchase which was a nice gesture and made me a repeat customer. Just make sure to place orders in advance and be prepared to wait on big days like Super Bowl and New Year Eve.

Me and the BF drive 25 minutes just for the hot dogs, honey mustard and pepperoni roll. Very friendly help and incredibly reasonable. The honey mustard comes in a large to go container which is a must!

I was very excited when I had first read about Philly Pretzel Factory coming to the area. Although I was not familiar with this chain I had higher hopes for it. In short, it is a step up from a SuperPretzel and is no comparison to a Wetzel’s Pretzel or an Auntie Anne’s. I ordered the regular salted pretzel, which left much to be desired… and oh how I missed that yummy, buttery coating that those other places use! I was also disappointed that they did not offer fountain lemonade on the menu, which is something that I routinely order when consuming a soft pretzel. The website does show that they carry a frozen lemonade, which was not the case when we visited in the summer, perhaps because they had just recently opened up shop. I am always ready, willing and able to travel long lengths for food, but I actually left this place with a feeling that I had wasted my time driving only from Morris to Essex County when I could have just stayed local and patronized the Auntie Anne’s in the Rockaway Mall. Oh well… as I often say, «You never know until you go!»

I love soft pretzels… and while my favorites are from the Amish Market in Flemington… these are a good second choice (and it’s much closer to home). The price is good, pretzels taste great and have just the right amount of salt. The shop is located in the same block as Starbucks and there is a parking lot on the side. There’s a variety of other choices (which I didn’t try on this trip).

Just came from here. Oh my, these are the best! Very friendly staff, fantastic pretzel rivets and the hot dogs were great. Would definitely return. They have party trays to die for. Warm, salty, and the assortment of pretzel dips are great also. Many combination to choose from. Don’t miss out on is one. Plenty of parking next to the building.

This is the full-​fledged pretzel factory where everything is made in house starting with the flour and other raw ingredients. I purchased 15 regular pretzels for what I thought was a bargain price of $ 8, especially compared to the prices at other chains at the malls where just one pretzel can cost $ 2 — $ 3.
The pretzels were served warm, lightly salted and cooked just to the right amount of brownness. Unlike some other Philly Pretzels Factories I’ve been to, the bottom of the pretzels were also cooked to a crisp instead of being burnt.
When I was there I was served by a very helpful and friendly woman who made you feel very welcome.
I’ll definitely be going back.
