History

Established in 1995.

Owner Lynn Meisler opened Duet in 1995 after a successful tenure as manager of an acclaimed NYC craft gallery. Eager to bridge the gap between the creator and the end consumer, Lynn worked closely with the artisans themselves to learn the stories behind each piece and share them with collectors. These relationships forged a deep appreciation of design and craftsmanship that organically sparked her passion for luxury accessories and fine jewelry.

The lessons she learned from these artists have informed Lynn’s ongoing creation of the Duet brand experience.

Today, she and her knowledgable, tight-​knit staff are friends, experts and confidantes to over 1,000 active consignors and shoppers. No one establishes trust and relationships quite like Duet.
