Hello Bistro was born from a passion for food and making people happy. French influenced, casual dining in a two-​story farmhouse overlooking the Catskill Mountains. Everything is made in house; the seasonally inspired menu changes frequently, supporting local producers whenever possible. On and off premises catering also available. Events, music and art in the upstairs gallery throughout the year.

History

Established in 2006.

After several years as Flour Power Bakery and Café, we renovated our building and created Hello Bistro. As much as we loved baking bread and creating cakes and pastries, our customers really wanted more of our cooking, and the café part kept growing and growing. Soups and sandwiches became evenings of Coq au Vin and Boeuf Bourguingon. Our menu is French influenced, and changes with the seasons. We shop locally whenever possible. We like it simple and we keep it pure. We have outdoor seating in the warmer months, plus the bar fills up with those that like to eat at the bar. We look forward to your visit!

The gathering of the community is still our favorite part.

Art shows, poetry readings and music events are scheduled on a regular basis.
