History

Established in 1980.

Bernard «Mack» McLaughlin and his partner Dennis Ashcraft started the company almost 35 years ago, and MD Hardwood Floors has been installing, finishing and refinishing hardwood floors for home builders and homeowners ever since. Though Dennis left the company several years ago, Mack has always kept the original name of the business.

In October 2011, Mack purchased an existing retail flooring store, Walk on Wood, from the original owner. In April 2012 he moved the business from its’ previous location on 115 Luther Avenue, Liverpool, NY 13 088 to our current location on 7842 Goguen Drive, Liverpool, NY 13 090 (off Wetzel Road in Liverpool.

Business Owner

Bernard «Mack» McLaughlin was born and raised in Syracuse. He and his family members still reside in the Syracuse area. He has been installing and finishing flooring for most of his working career. He has worked for many of the areas largest home builders over the years, as well as many, many local homeowners.
