My Artist Corner specializes in custom, upcycled furniture painting to personalize your home. Items are sold on-​line and at local retail shops and antique fairs in the Bay Area. (check the website for current selling locations.)

My Artist Corner is also the Bay Area Local Retail Partner (LRP) for Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan. Chalk Paint™ is called the «best paint in the world!» and you only have to try it to agree.

The owner, Susan Simon, is a trained Chalk Paint™ teacher and conducts workshops on furniture painting, distressing and embellishing techniques featuring Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan.

Business Owner

I have studied art & design all my life but what has always fascinated me was when artists took the practical items they used everyday and made them beautiful whether it was a wall, a cabinet, a table or an item of clothing. It was their way of taking the ordinary and transforming it to bring beauty into their homes and their lives. That’s what I do with my art; I take the everyday and transform it into something beautiful.
