We are able to special order any instrument, accessory or book that you may need that we do not regularly carry in stock — just ask!

History

Established in 2002.

Music Time Academy was originally established by David Radtke in 2002. He began as a private guitar instructor teaching in-​home lessons in Livermore, and eventually expanded his business in 2005 to include multiple instructors on various instruments teaching out of a Livermore studio under the name, «Musik-​Time.» In 2008, David renamed the business «Music Time Academy» shortly before selling it (due to personal reasons) to one of his drum instructors, Anna Kremenliev.

In July 2008, Anna Kremenliev took ownership of Music Time Academy. Since then, Anna Kremenliev and Mario Silva (artistic director at Music Time Academy) have worked to grow the business in the community and to create a fun, friendly and safe atmosphere for students of all ages to learn to enjoy and play music. Music Time Academy is proudly owned and operated by professional musicians who realize that an education in music offers a lifetime of benefits to both children and adults.

Business Owner

A Bay Area native, Anna has performed with countless groups of different musical styles all over the nation and world. She is a graduate of University California, Berkeley, and was a member of the Cal Band for 4 years. Anna is not only a musician, but also a sound engineer, tour manager, concert promoter, record producer, web/​graphic designer and director of Music Time Academy. Her teaching experience ranges from private lessons to drum line to preschool music. Currently, Anna can be heard performing with various local groups including Go Kart Mozart (Rock), West Grand Blvd (Motown/R&B/Soul), Total Eclipse (70s/​80s covers), The Seth Chaplas (Rock), and Jump Back (50s covers).
