Marina was the perfect real estate agent for us last summer. We were planning to make several home upgrades but were delayed in this work… planning to put off our move for another year. We were referred to Marina as an agent with experience selling a home ‘as is’, meaning we would leave the remaining upgrades to the new owners, and discount the asking price accordingly. We met with Marina, discovered we were already in agreement on the asking price, and began our planning.
With all of her obvious experience, Marina advised us well as to which repairs and upgrades would be best to do before listing the house, and which upgrades could be left for the future owners. The contractors, repair people, and packing assistants Marina recommended were all excellent, well-​priced, attentive and they made the grueling process of packing and preparing so much easier.
We really enjoyed Marina’s enthusiasm and positive attitude throughout the entire process and highly recommend her. We were very happy with process of showing and selling our home in Pleasanton, and the escrow and closing went very smoothly thanks to Marina’s comprehensive experience and upbeat approach.

Marina is the third agent we contacted and she turned out way above the others. We were first time buyers, but had very smooth transaction. Marina is an absolute gem of a Realtor. We recently used her skills for both Selling and Buying a home.
On the selling side, Marina was absolutely top notch and I couldn’t have asked for more. From the moment she set foot in our home, she was honest and realistic about what we needed to do to get «top dollar». She has a wide connection of resources at her disposal, and called in a few favors to get a flooring contractor over to our house ASAP to give a quote to replace our wood floors; the price was several thousand less than quotes form other flooring companies. Next, she arranged for a professional stager to help get the house ready for sale. The stager was extremely cost effective, and they transformed out house into something magnificent. Marina even lent use some of her personal furniture to use in the staging of our house! The experience didn’t stop there, from the open houses to the showings, she was there every step of the way with us. In the end, she got us an offer 25k over asking! Very impressive.
On the buying side, we couldn’t have selected a better agent to represent us. With the timer ticking on the sale of our current home, Marina worked out a great rent-​back option on the house we sold to give us more time to find a house to buy. When we finally found a home, Marina went right to work making sure we had everything lined up and ready for the purchase. When one of our inspector’s car broke down, Marina was able to get a different inspection company to come out on 2 hours notice and complete the inspections on the scheduled day! (Her network of inspectors and repair people was extremely valuable to me in this case, as I took a day off to attend the inspection!). The house we bought already had a pest inspection done, and only found about ~$ 2000 in dry rot. Marina encouraged us to get our own inspection, just to be safe. The inspector she brought out found over $ 10k in dry rot, saving us from having to perform major fixing after we bought the home. A+ on the buying side!
Both transactions (sell/​buy) were completed on-​time, and with minimal issues to all parties involved. That says a lot when you’re dealing with complex real estate transactions! I give Marina two big thumbs up!
When we were searching for a Realtor, we compared several Realtors and Agencies (both traditional and discount). What Marina offered and delivered is above and beyond what any of the others were capable of. So, if you’re debating selecting a realtor, I encourage you to decide on Marina. You will be very happy you did.
PS. 6 months after we bought our home, Marina still personally delivers our misdirected mail from the old house. Now that’s not just going above and beyond, what Marina builds with her clients is a true relationship.

I have used Marina for a house purchase and sale. My house purchase was the perfect home for me, the one my previous agent told me did not exist. It was not only just what I wanted, but a great deal as well. It was a short sale that she was able to help close in two weeks — amazing!
We sold my wife’s old house that we thought was upside down.
