Went to a bday party here and I REALLY wanted to love this place. We have 4 kids, and places like this can make or break us.
There were many things I liked, many things that my children enjoyed, BUT I couldn’t overlook the fact that they need to hire some 25+ year olds. Maybe a retired preschool teacher? Someone with experience, someone to take charge. This one young man in particular didn’t look like he was awake.
While we were there, two little boys collided. One had a very very bad gusher of a nosebleed. There was blood on the steps leading to the trampoline. The staff just froze. One girl came over with gloves on, cleaner, and towels (We were all relieved) then she realized that she was in shoes (not the «special socks») so she walked away from all of that blood, was gone for quite some time, and came back with the socks on. Nobody stood there to prevent kids from stepping, jumping, playing in the blood pool. Anyone with any type of blood born pathogen training would know that the blood is far more important than the SOCKS! It was bad. I was yelling out at people who didn’t listen, telling kids to stay away. I almost took a photo and then I realized that it was sick/​inappropriate. I also remembered that I am a Unilocaler, and not an investigator. The poor boy had to take off his blood soaked shirt. He wanted to stay and play, so his parents went over and bought him a shirt. I think if a grown up (or someone who actually cared) were involved, they would have comped the poor kid a tee shirt.
Another thing that I didn’t like is that they kept both of the front doors wide open. My baby almost ran out and I ran after her. I had that crazy mom run going, and the half-​awake guy says «bye, thanks for coming»
Yeah. That’s how I’ve decided to exit the place, running and gasping for air! Again, if a grown up or someone who actually cared were involved… They need some type of barrier. I admit that my baby behaves like she’s training for some type of toddler triathlon, but– any child can just run straight out to the parking lot. Mr sleepy at counter would be happy to give them a monotone «goodbye»
Maybe someone called in sick that day, it just didn’t seem like there were enough employees to go around.
If you’re considering giving this place a try, I will tell you why we liked it. The climbing structure is very fun. It’s big and high enough to be exciting and a little bit of a challenge for little people. My girls loved it so much, that I only got a still picture when they fell down. Lol
The birthday party areas are really impressive, very private and the kids thought that they were super cool. The décor is great. My 4 year old is shy, and Audrey greeted her warmly.
The babies and big kids areas are separate (too bad that some parents are clueless). My older two played golf while the younger two were at the party, and they liked that also.
The bathrooms were clean, there was a changing table, and special seat to strap a squirmy toddler in.
It starts to get crowded after 11:30, so go early. It also starts to get warm in there, so go early.
We don’t know how the food is, the hot pretzels weren’t even started yet at 12:00. My big kids were disappointed. It saved us money though.
My final impression is this: our 4 year old is shy and sometimes sticks to me like velcro. She disappeared into that inviting climbing structure, and every time she reappeared she was smiling and laughing! She didn’t want to go home. Will we return? Most likely.

I hope they hire a few more people, and post one or two inside the climbing structures.
It’s unfortunate that so much policing is necessary. I noticed that quite a few parents weren’t stepping up (as usual).
I think with experienced staff in higher numbers, doors closed, grown up presence, and air conditioning, this place will continue to get better.

The party was good. no complaints. They double charged me though and I have called thrice now. Can I please get my refund back?

This place is amazing! Incredible play structure AND awesome dinosaurs to greet you? Where was this when I was a kid? Yes, you do have to buy the socks, but they are three bucks. I spend more money at Starbucks, and the socks are preeeeetty cool, so I’m fine to roll this into the cost of admission. This place tired my daughter out, and all in all was impressively clean for a kids place. I call that a win.
I’m not really sure what’s with the negative reviews, tbh. The staff was awesome when we went, so if you have trouble, maybe try interacting with your kid more? Feel free to tell the other kids not to hit each other? Be a parent? It’s not the staffs job to do your job for you.

I miss Super Franks! This place is meh… It’s expensive once you pay for multiple kids, and socks… And there wasn’t much selection of food. Super Franks was not only just for kids. They also made it comfortable for parents, too. This place didn’t even have comfortable seating. They had plastic stools to sit on and a huge industrial fan instead of air conditioning. Yuck.

Ok, so this was a real pain! We had our two kids birthday party here in Feb. it cost 30.00 per child far enough. We had invited twelve kids and had 18 show up. So I knew I’d have to pay extra no problem. One kid got hurt on his way to the first activity, his mom came and picked him up. As the party was winding down the asked me to fill out a survey, I said that the party helper was good. He was in his mid twenties and I didn’t want to get him into any trouble, I figured I wouldn’t tip because he didn’t do anything like clean up after the pizza, cut the cake or scoop the ice-​cream or any of that clean up. When ever we needed anything like a knife to cut the cake he would just star at his phone. My wife would get up and go ask somebody else for it. When the party was over this slick salesman type lets me know that when my balance reached $ 500 theres a 15% gratuity added to my bill! I paid the bill, it was over $ 1000!
The next day I called to complain about the tip and being charged for the kid that went home. They said that the manager would call me back, he never did. The kids had fun in the laser tag area is why I’m giving two stars. The $ 3.00 sock fee adds up and for that much money they should have air conditioner blasting! In all three out of 18 got hurt. They do not have air conditioning and its WAY TO HOT in Livermore not to!

Fun place for a kid’s birthday party. The only gripe I have with this place is the parking situation. We went to Lost World at 10am and it was very hard to find parking. Ended up parking very far away from the entrance.

Fun Place For kids. The drinks at the snack bar are way over priced, and on top of that they make you go to the front desk and stand in a long line to pay for the drink. Smh.

Pros: Free parking, great laser tag game, great play structure for kids (10 yr olds and under seem to big the biggest fans of the play structure), Awesome employees like Orlando! (he is the companies biggest asset and worth 5 stars) Bailey was very helpful as well!
Cons: The first is they are not good for updating their website. ie: I now know their hours are not correct on their website.
Secondly: About ¼ of their games were not working properly (skeeball, basketballs not giving you ANY balls etc.) Every time that happened you have to wail in line to have an employee add the $ you lost back to your card. It is a hassle (hopefully, Bailey will be working if this happens to you as he was EXTREMELY patient and kind each and every time this happened with one of my grand kids! If you have $.25 left on a game card, you cannot get your money back and their are not any games for $.25 (just a matter of principle) Thirdly… and the biggest is that I understand the «no outside food or drink» policy when YOU HAVE ITEMS TO SELL TO EAT! I had read in previous reviews that you sold basic items like hot dogs, nachos etc. so we arrived at 11:15 thinking we would play, then eat and then play some more… they sell chips and ice cream bars… that is a far cry from hot dogs and nachos. I asked if I could go and get some food and bring it in to eat and was told «No»! Okay, so I go and purchase some fast food, bring it back, gather my group, eat outside in the hot sun with my group only to go back inside to see a group with pizza that was delivered I saw the delivery guy why I was out in the hot sun but assumed incorrectly that it was for the employees)!!! I went back to the front to ask why I wasn’t told that I could have just ordered a pizza. Long story short, someone did ask the group to put it away but they stopped for 10 minutes and then continued on eating their pizza, drinking their drinks and eating their cupcakes. There were two other groups eating food they brought in as well. Come on guys… update your website to reflect your current hours and food items… make it user friendly with this information so we know what to expect. If you have rules, enforce them or relax them for everyone. None of these people were «parties».

Staff are untrained teenagers who don’t know how to take control without having a huge ego. Most of the parents here don’t watch their children and realize how often they misbehave-​this is where the staff need to step in. If the child isn’t playing nice, then remove them and bring them back to the parents. Instead, I had staff members watch and do nothing as my 2 year old was pushed and shoved and knocked down to the ground several times. Not only my child, but two other children as well. Parents of the misbehaving children were no where to be found.
And you can’t enforce no outside food or drinks when you don’t even have a working snack bar. I hope when it’s finished, you train your staff how to properly handle food without cross contamination.

This place is great! Walked in was already checking out the whole place… went in the ball pit down the slides then stared to wonder wait there is no way this place is free?!! Went back to the front n saw someone n she said oh I saw u walk by she was friendly n took us to check out the miniature golf. Less than $ 6 to play n for the jumping area it was less than $ 10 for my 2yr old we had to buy socks for $ 3 each but it’s a cool keepsake item. I would love to hav a birthday party here for the kids! There is a lot of seating area for the adults n I love that I hav a spot to plug in my phone.

The first time we came here it was cool. We only came for the play structure, and somehow got suckered into some laser tag. No biggie though, it was a blast. Today, however, not so much. We came strictly for the laser tag as our boys didn’t enjoy the play structure so much.
So, here’s some advice:
1. GAIN SOME CONTROL AND ORDER. If the parents don’t want to keep control over their kids then the employees should be there as guidance. You don’t have to run a boot camp, but some kids are just out of control and need to be checked or taken back to their parents.
2. Don’t take peoples money, hand out laser tag figurines, and let a gang load of people in to play if you don’t have enough WORKING VESTS for them to enjoy their time. My battery was about dead and the man said «if it dies during the game, come get me and I’ll give you another one.» Really, where are you going to get another one… All the working vests are on the body’s playing the game… And where exactly in this MAZE… IN THE DARK, will you be.
3. Get your snack bar together. I bet if I were to even inquire about bringing outside food in I’d get a no, but yet you all have nothing to offer. Furthermore, teach the people working the snack bar about cross contamination. Serving /​fixing food with the same gloves you take money with is just filthy.
Otherwise, the young people working here are really nice. A little too nonchalant but nice.
I’m not so sure this place is worth the price. I’ll give it one more shot.

Where do I begin? Well let’s start off with making reservations… I tried to reserve but the system kept ERROR’ing out. Very frustrating. I tried to call but nobody answered or returned my calls. I emailed and no response. I tried everyday for a month and finally 5 days prior to my sons birthday party somebody answered and told me incorrect information. The person told me I can bring outside food for the party.
SERVICE– I arrived bright and early and set up for my sons party when Danny, a staff member advised me of the rules– NO outside food for WALK IN parties only for RESERVED parties. Acknowledged. He tried to accommodate me and place me in the RESERVED area until my party arrived so they can eat but Scott another staff member advised that we sit the original area so we’re not moving everything around. Scott took care of me & my party. He was so awesome and consistently smiled and checked on us. He helped assisted with candles, knives etc…
As I read previous reviews I was extremely hesitant in having my sons party but my son really wanted to come here and very glad I did. My son and his guests had an awesome time!
I spoke to the manager, Glen about my experience and he was very apologetic and stated he would address the issues.
Thank you Scott, Danny, Glen and the rest of the LWA staff! We will return!

We came here today for a fundraiser and we really enjoyed our time here. My kids were here for hours and they didn’t even want to leave. No one ever complained of being bored and everyone had fun!
My toddler really loved the play area with the slides and the ball pit. She had a great time climbing up the stairs, building towers, jumping, and playing! I usually feel like I don’t get my money’s worth for my youngest since she’s little and a lot of places don’t seem to cater to the under 5 crowd. My boys really liked the laser tag, mini golf, and arcade. They also spent a lot of time on the play structure.
I, personally, had no problem finding staff members. I didn’t really have need for any other than at the counter and at the snack bar but I was able to quickly get the service I needed when I needed it. I also thinking the management is fabulous for having a fundraiser to help Unravel Pediatric Cancer. I think it’s wonderful when a company gives back to the community!

I really want Lost Worlds to succeed as this is the only place, to my knowledge, of such a caliber within Tri-City’s vicinity. Yet, as much as my kids enjoyed the playground a couple of days ago, we are NOT coming back anytime soon and I would advise all other parents to do the same. The reason is that Lost Worlds is severely understaffed and dangerously undertrained. I’ll go into the details in a minute, but I’d like to highlight the business’ positive sides first in order for my constructive criticism to serve its objective purpose. So…
Pros:
–Plenty of stuff to do for kids of different ages
–Large facilities that do not feel overly crowded even on a rainy Saturday afternoon
— Outstanding playground structure with a designated area for children 4 years old and younger
–Really friendly staff
— Reasonable pricing
Cons:
In addition to a confusing parking situation, there is only one serious con there, but its severity undermines all the aforementioned pros: the entire playground is a one big HEALTH HAZARD. The threat can be broken down into two related main categories:
1. Staff Training
A little girl had a peeing accident in the structure’s toddler section. I wanted to find an employee to clean a pretty big puddle in the middle of the playground, but couldn’t locate one for quite some time as there are very few of them to begin with and they do not wear easily identifiable uniform. Finally, I located one staff member (he looked like he was a 15 – 16 years old) and told him about the situation. Poor kid didn’t know what to do. He grabbed a piece of paper towel and started to wipe the pee off the mats with his bare hands. I had to tell him to wear gloves, bring a disinfecting spray, and put a sign to warn people that the area was wet.
2. Rules Enforcement
Lost Worlds requires everyone, who wishes to use their huge indoor playground, to purchase safety socks on-​site. No other footwear or bare feet are allowed on the structure. This is a great rule if it is enforced, but it is not enforced. Plenty of kids and adults wear their safety socks all around the premises including bathrooms. It is only a matter of time before Lost Worlds’ clients get sick and start filing law suits for unsafe practices.
Another example would be the slides: Lost Worlds’ slides could be tons of fun if hordes of kids were not climbing up the slides to collide with kids going down. I tried to find a staff member to take the situation under control, but to no avail. I asked to speak with a manager, but he never showed up. So, finally, I picked up my kids and left.
The bottom line is that this place has a great potential if only the management hires, trains, and properly clothes more staff. Until then, — my friends and my family are not coming back.

Came here for a birthday party yesterday and there is definitely a lot to do. There’s a play structure, laser tag, indoor miniature golf and an arcade. The play structure is amazing! I went with my 4 year old and 1 year old and I’m glad I was able to escort them around. I definitely got a workout running around and chasing them everywhere!
When we first walked in the line was ridiculous! Since we were there with a party we didn’t have to wait because they already had the wristbands and socks for us. Thank goodness because my kids would have gotten impatient waiting there.
I definitely agree with everyone else in that they need to increase their staff. I only saw 2 employees in the huge play structure; 1 where you check in and 1 by the trampoline. We first started out at the «4 and under» section but there were kids there who were definitely not under 4. It kinda defeats the purpose if no one is there to regulate! The ball pit was crazy because kids were rough housing and I heard a few kids crying here and there from getting hit in the face. They also have a section where you can shoot foam balls at one another and out of the 4 guns, only 1 was working so all the kids were fighting for their turn. The big kids were pushing the little kids out of the way so I wish there was staff there. Oh, and I wish the staff wore colored shirts so the parents could easily identify them.
The prize spot to redeem tickets took forever. There was only 1 worker and a long line of parents and kids trying to redeem their tickets. This is usually the last stop before leaving and at this point everyone is tired and cranky so they should have someone else here to assist and speed up the line.
All in all, we had a great time. The staff member that was assigned to our party was great. He was very friendly and attentive and he never once seemed annoyed with anyone. We will definitely come back. Our kids had a blast and they both passed out as soon as we put them in their car seats. We had a nice quiet ride home!

This whole «Lost Worlds» concept is a good idea, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the leadership team executing this idea is doing a good job.
Came here on a Saturday night at 5:30pm. A crowd is expected around that time frame. But the problem wasn’t the crowd, it’s actually the service. I waited 30+ minutes in a line that I didn’t know was a line in the first place.
There was only one guy working in the front, which was the «manager» as he claims. First off, he was just straight up slow. There were so many instances where he could have made the process more efficient such as having the same protocol for each customer. He was forgetting wristbands and the «required safety socks» left and right. He was also giving everyone a different answer left and right — I had no choice but to watch his interactions with his customers for like 30+ minutes. I mean, what else was I supposed to do as my youngsters and I are anxiously waiting?
Second off, this place if full of false advertisements. Be aware that if you plan on playing on the play structure that it is REQUIRED you purchase the really basic $ 3.00 safety socks per person, kids AND adults. It certainly doesn’t say that on the website. When I got there, I saw it on the screen that shows the activity pricing but with no cost. It’s a separate sign on the counter that no one really notices. So be mindful that everything at the end will add up when you pay.
Third off, the «manager» was a straight up jerk who kept arguing with me. I told him I had a child who was 3 and under and an additional child. So it should’ve been $ 9.95 + $ 9.95. But he charged me $ 14.95 without telling me until I saw my receipt. He didn’t tell me the costs for anything. All he wanted to say to me was that «it doesn’t work like that» and «I’m not gonna give you a refund». It says nowhere in the activity pricing about how the «additional child» had to be 3 and under or that I had to pay for a «all day pass» for $ 14.95 in order to get a «additional child» for 9.95. The pricing is hella vague so I advise you to choose your battle wisely because the «manager» will sass back at you with his flustered and useless self.
Fourth off, it was funny because the «manager» finally then told my auntie who was after me that kids over 3 cost $ 14.95. If that was clear to me in the beginning, I would understand the cost. You can’t just assume everyone knows how your pricing works when you’re a more new place trying to gain loyalty from your first time customers. He even charged my auntie for adult socks and we didn’t even use it. But he didn’t charge the families before us!
Last but not least, there was no staff supervising the play structure. Now, that is just extremely problematic. There were HELLA kids up in there. How about those «required safety socks»?! Half of the kids and adults in there were wearing their own socks and even shoes! Like what the hell is going on up in here. No one is even checking for wristbands and the «required safety socks» so that’s why people were just breaking rules and going in there anyways. It’s a safety hazard everywhere in there too. Example: the trampoline had like 20 kids in there for a good while. What’s the maximum occupancy that’s supposed to be in there? 3 kids as it said on the sign! That trampoline could’ve just broke out of nowhere but it wouldn’t be surprising to me. This place is completely understaffed. I mean, with a a-​hole manager, I get it.
This place needs A LOT of work. Like I said, its a good concept. But the staff, lack of leadership, lack of control and hectic-​ness makes me NOT want to come here. Because everything I listed was preventable.
Here a tip Lost World Adventures: if you don’t want anymore crappy reviews than what you already have, treat your customers with some respect and get your sh*t together.

I suppose its my fault for coming here on a Holiday Monday (MLK day). I think the line was about 30 deep and I waited about 45 minutes to get in. I decided to wait only after popping my head in and seeing that it actually wasn’t that busy inside. The line was caused by a really slow check in process which included a broken sign in waiver machine.
I think its a great deal for the play structure. $ 15 for the day and you get a free adult entrance as well. Some of the stools were broken to the point of being a safety hazard. They have two main party areas and both looked dark and tacky. There are 4 slides that need to be waxed badly as I got stuck several times. For being open such a short time the wear and tear is pretty incredible.
Severely understaffed!

My kids are 3 and 6, so the best thing about this place is the Massive Play Structure. It’s four stories tall, fully padded, appears clean and has a variety of different sections with varied activities such as bolsters to climb over, swinging bridge, ball air gun shooting, gigantic ball pit, trampoline with foam blocks to jump in, spinny disks, climbing wall… and so on.
We went on a very crowded, rainy Saturday and even with the large numbers of kids, the structure still had plenty of room. Many adults, myself included, were climbing all through it. I’m only 5′ tall, so had no trouble walking upright through most of it, but noticed many taller parents bumping their heads.
There is a good sized area for kids 4 and under with similar activities to the large play area.
Staff, was pretty much non existent. One staff monitoring the trampoline area and two at the front desk to take payment. No one watching the kids or walking the floor.
I brought sticky bottomed socks from Rockin Jump, thinking we could use them, but they weren’t allowed, even though they are the same as the socks they sell, just a different color. Pretty peeved about that and I over heard several other parents complaining about the $ 3 per pair socks.
It’s expensive for two kids just to use the play structure. All other activities are extra and also expensive. Many of the video games are completely inappropriate and violent.
The café was open, with a very limited, expensive, fast food type (unhealthy) options There is a no outside food rule, but I brought our own lunch and no one hassled us about it. It would be nice to have a water bottle refilling station as the only water I could find for refill, was from the bathroom sink.
Kids left exhausted and they had a great time, so that’s the important part. We’ll be back and I hope that they continue to improve.

Lost Worlds is awesome! The opening was hotly anticipated and I can see why!
My kids have been several times with various family members and have just raved about it. Last Sunday was my first time and I definitely enjoyed looking around. Personally, I would have loved the playground when I was little! On this visit my boys played laser tag and emerged sweaty and proud.
Tip to management: Make sure there is good communication between the staff and laser tag players. My boys hadn’t exited from their first game yet as their second game was starting.
Yes, Lost Worlds can be pricey, so if you are on a budget, make sure to take advantage of their many weekly specials via the web site.

LWA is the latest addition to the growing number of arcades and play zones in the TriValley, having opened in May this year. This would have been a five star review based on how much fun my kids had here, but there were a few important misses, so it receives only four stars.
Here are my impressions — having visited the play structure only, not the mini-​golf or Laser Tag areas.
— Parking — we arrived around 10:30 am on a Sunday and did not have any trouble finding a spot. But I noticed parking got tighter as the day wore on.
— Admission — a bit expensive at $ 14.95 for kiddo number one, and $ 9.95 for kiddo number two. At least I was free!
— Safety socks — they insist that kids wear these inside the play structure. Probably a combination of genuine safety concern, legal advice (aka CYA) and good old capitalistic greed. $ 3 each no matter the size or color. Also, the adults need a set of socks if they wish to accompany their kids inside the play area.
— The décor — top notch. Dinosaurs everywhere! Clean tables, sitting areas, party zones, video games, air hockey tables, etc. And plenty of TVs showing the 49ers and Raiders games — much appreciated by dads sporting enough to take their kids out on a Sunday during football season.
— The play area — absolutely amazing. The kids had a blast. Someone Unilocaled that this was the «mother of all play structures» — they’re right! And there is a smaller (equally impressive) play area for younger kids and an excellent trampoline.
— Food and Water — «outside food» is not allowed but they allowed us to bring in food because the cafeteria was closed when we were there. Water is allowed, and the kids carried their water bottles. But running around is thirsty work and their refillable water bottles were empty in no time. That’s when I found out they don’t have water fountains. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? NO WATER FOUNTAINS?! Luckily my über-​prepared better half had stashed a few extra plastic water bottles in the car — the tree hugger in me shuddered, but the dad in me rejoiced.
— Service — inconsistent. The staffers were friendly, and apologized profusely for making us buy the safety socks (they must be getting a lot of blowback about them). But then there were several parents and guardians who were walking around the play structure without safety socks, and others were wearing shoes! If you have rules, please enforce them fairly and consistently.
All in all — LWA is a mixed bag, and seems to be having growing pains. But it still earns four stars because the kids had a blast. And that is who these places exist for. So we will be back, wearing the proper socks, and armed with food and water in case we happen to visit when the café is closed.
