A great place for group tastings!
One of the best group tasting experiences we have ever had! They were on top of the service and the ambiance was the best I have ever experienced at a winery during a tasting. The barn inside the winery is very cool.
Family owned and operated with the best dog mascot. Overall feel was very warm and welcoming. Thank you for having us! Wine was very good as well. The Zin port was really nice, I like the lower alcohol ports, way more approachable.

Family owned and operated local business with great wine. Phil gave my husband and I a behind the scenes tour. Have enjoyed their events too. Great wine for a reasonable price. Try their Cabernet Savignon or the Rhone if they have it. Longevity got me to appreciate wine. Looking forward to going back when I’m in the area. Would like to take my in-law’s here.

My family and I checked out Longevity the day after the Wine Harvest Festival and we were so happy we did. This winery is great! I really enjoyed the wines but most of all I loved Press Ton. He greeted us as we walked in and then snuggled up on his comfy bed. Debra was wonderful and very friendly. The set up of the winery inst your typical winery. You walk in to more of a industrial feel but right as you walk in you are taken into a beautiful tasting room. I could of sat there all day long.
We ended up buying a half case of tempranillo and it has been delicious! I will be back!

Longevity Wines had a sign outside saying if one «checked in», they would get an high five and a bag of goodies. for fun, i checked in. showed the older lady and went into the barrel tasting to look around, keeping an eye out for her. she reappered emptyhanded, didn’t look for me. and went about her normal routine.

We came here yesterday close to 5pm and the owner was rude, it was obvious they don’t like people coming close to closing time, hence we may have bought some wine but no thanks.
The tasting was $ 5 which is pretty common in Livermore and she said if we bought wine it would be waived. My friend bought wine but she still charged $ 5 for my tasting, rude! This would never happen in Napa, apparently they needed the $ 5. She also poured a wine my friend said she didn’t like and expected her to drink it.
Just skip this place, go to Wente where everyone is friendly and they also aren’t in a strip mall.

i an a frequent visitor to Longevity and every visit is fabulous and the owners make me (and my guests) feel like family. I have enjoyed their growth in this new location! I LOVE the 2012 Chardonnay and the Pink Pinot Grigio. Of course, when they have the Barbara it’s the best! The small gift shop is awesome (especially if you are into hearts!). — This is a destination winery.

First off, thank you for taking the time to read my review and responding to it, many businesses do not do that.
I would like to clarify what you said that I take very much offense to. I work hard for my money, as do my friends that came with me, and there is absolutely no need for us to try to get out of a $ 5 or $ 10 tasting fee. We were out celebrating my friends birthday and to imply that my group was doing that is very offensive. Let me explain to you what happened since you want to make us look shady.
There was 5 of us in our group. Two of us have the Livermore Wine card, which we presented at beginning of the tasting, meaning our tasting was free. Two others paid their fee at the very beginning of the tasting. The 5^th lady, Silvia, decided even before we got there she was going to pass on this last winery since we already went to 4 others. YES 4 other wineries; Bent, Singing Winemaker, 3 Steves and Les Chenes. Since I have been to Longevity prior as I mentioned in my previous review, I only had one of the wines. After that, I told Silvia go ahead and have my other tastings and I walked away from the counter. I said this in front of the lady that was «helping» us. If we were not supposed to do that she didn’t say differently.
So when we left, someone yelled out we need to pay. We were all confused since we all thought we had did that at the BEGINNING of the tasting. My friend went ahead and handed over money and we left. So actually you received an EXTRA tasting fee from us! But rather than go back and argue we decided it wasn’t worth it. If you have cameras there, you can see that there is always only 4 people from my group at the counter, not 5.
Now with the racist issue. It doesn’t matter that it’s a minority owned business, I specifically said it was the lady helping us that treated us differently than the other group next to us. We didn’t even meet Phil that day. It’s great to know that you and your husband would not tolerate racism because I am sure your customers would not tolerate it either.
Lastly, I go wine tasting at least once a month. I am very much aware of how tastings work. The lady was pouring and did not care if we were done. I don’t know why she was doing this but that is what happened.

Booked a group of 10 for 11÷15÷14 with Debra. Great service leading up to our visit and AMAZING service for our tasting. We felt so welcomed and special they served us in the second room with the barrels. Such a cute feminine and warm atmosphere. The midnight Syrah Rosè was my fave, so I purchased. The rest of my party raved about the cab sauv. Thanks ladies!

Wine tasting room is very small. Fortunately this Sunday we were able to stand at the bar area but anymore than 6 people not sure what they do. Women providing tasting was pleasant but in the beginning was a bit stiff & business like. She was nice enough to let us sample more than the normal 5 tastes included for the $ 5 tasting fee. This fee was waived or collected after the tasting depending if you purchase wine. After the tasting she was anxious to get an order. This tasting room is not located at the actual vineyard and more in area of light industrial so you do not get the feel of the Livermore AVA.
Wines were very good and especially enjoyed the Lodi Zin. Unfortunately didn’t get the chance to look around further but maybe next time.

Second time visiting this tasting room. The first time my dad and I stopped here during barrel tasting and had a pleasant enough experience – nothing to boast about. However, a friend and I stopped in today (⁴⁄₁₃) as our second stop after having a very pleasant experience at Nottingham and whoever the person pouring was, was not at all friendly. My friend and I are both young, 24 year old, working professionals. And while both of us have visible tattoos, they are tasteful and fitting to our personalities. She asks me for my ID which was perfectly fine with me – yet she looks me up and down like a piece of trash and starts questioning me about the details of my age. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry and I’m telling you – she was being a little overboard. Then she proceeds to give us a tasting – giving us each barely a sip. This wasn’t by any means my first rodeo and I’m not a greedy person or a lush, but the pours were meager enough for me and my friend to exchange questioning looks. Being the extrovert I am, I tried to compliment her shirt – giving her the benefit of the doubt and giving her a second chance to be friendlier but NOPE. Tiny sip pours and more condescending looks. I can’t describe the wines I had today because 1, I was so distracted by her rudeness and 2, I barely could taste the flight I paid for. Will not return if I see her pouring again.

Awesome wines. The fiancé and I came here after some wedding band shopping in Pleasanton. First had gone to Nottingham (meh), then were planning on going to Tamas. We figured since we were short on time, might as well just see what Longevity was all about. We’ll let me tell you, we were so happy we went into Longevity! We loved just about all of the wines we tasted, so much that we ended up joining their wine club. The service was very personable. Wines are very reasonably priced. And how can you not love their little Havanese doggie, Preston (who has a wine named after him).
A definite gem. Can’t wait to lick up our first wine club shipment.

My favorites here were the Viognier, Dijon clones Chardonnay and the merlot. The first couple of wines seemed a little heavy on the sulfites, but I don’t mind that. I rather aerate the excess from my glass than to swallow another oxidized Livermore wine. First visit here and I see a lot of potential.
Cellar Door
2012 Pinot blanc. Spritzy, primary nose, heavy sulfide. Citrus: lemon, tropical: green mango pineapple. Thick juicy, slight bitter finish
2012 Lodi Viognier. Honey, flowers: orange blossoms, acacia, citrus: lemon, sweet corn tamales, tropical pinnaples, stone fruits: apricots, thick and with a slight bitter finish. Very Good
2011 chard. Citrus: lemon, popcorn butter, thick and with a long finish. Not much flavors. Wente clone.
2012 chard. ripe pears, apples, fresh flowers, citrus: lemon. Good acidity, some butter, spicy finish. Dijon clones
2012 rose. Berries, tea, warm spice, good acidity, nice fruity finish.
2010 Lodi zin. Very ripe red fruits: cherries, raspberries, cassis, oaky nose, watermelon, bubblegum, high acidity, oaky finish
2010 merlot. Meaty nances, baked red apples and black fruits: plums, good acidity and concentration. Great aromatics here
Tempranillo. Black fruits, black tea, great concentration, funky nose. Awkward mid palate.
2010 cab Lodi. Baked red fruits. Sour cherries, Raspberries, red apples, warm spice, cayenne pepper, high acidity, oaky finish. Not typical cab
2009 philosophy. Oaky, black red fruits, black berries, black tea, earthy, mushrooms, good concentration, tight oaky finish.
2010 zin port. Coconut, ripe red fruits, plums, black cherries, good acidity, ripe raspberries, cassis, kirsh, creame de cassis.

Wine was fine. Wine Pourer seemed overly distracted but the experience was ok overall.

Deborah and Tom (Tim?) were great. We did get to meet Phil and he was happy we were there too. the snacks were a good pairing. I did end up taking a bottle of Phil-​osophy home. Saved on the tasting fee. very enjoyable time.

A stop is worthwhile, even if only to visit with Preston, the dog. Tastings are no longer free as mentioned in a couple older reviews; $ 10 lets you choose five. We were a bit rushed as we came in 30 minutes prior to closing but it gave me enough time to realize this is a place I need to visit again.

We went here on a recommendation from a friend, I’m not sure if the pourers were curt because they were so busy with the event going on or if they are always like that. They seem to be put off when you wanted to dump your wine. Their sauvignon blanc was pretty good; as for the rest of the wines I could have done without. It is my understanding though that they were not pouring all the ones they usually pour due to the special event. Based on what I tried I would not go back to try the full assortment.

Don’t let the off-​the-​beaten-​path location deter you from visiting Longevity. It is a small and inviting tasting room (and tasting room only), with a friendly staff and little dog.
The tasting menu offers about a half dozen wines of both the red and white variety, as well as one very non-​traditional rose. I felt that the whites were the room’s strong suite, and picked up the pinot grigio. I’m not generally big on whites (and really not big on griogio), but I was sold.
The tastings here are free, which is surprising, because the menu is generous.

Small, cute, intimate tasting room. Good thing it was slow when we went or else it would have got really crowded. We were greeted by a barking dog named Presley? It was so cute.
Free tasting for group of 7 or less and $ 5 for more than 8 but you get to keep the glass or the $ 5 go towards a bottle. We got the tasting for free since it were only 3 of us. There was 7 wines that we tried on the list: 4 whites and 3 reds and an extra red one she poured us at the end. Wines were decent.
The lady there was really nice. She made conversations with everyone. She poured a good amount of tasting.
There were complimentary cheese, crackers, and brownies too.

Very intimate mom and pop (literally) wine place. Very very friendly, down to earth, and they love their wines. This is a labor of their passion for wines. The owners have full time jobs and do this on the side/​weekend. They let you taste all their wines, and have the best snacks of all the wineries we went to! Brownies, and of course the crackers and cheese. They let you go to the back and take a look at how they put their wines in barrows. Phil spoke about how they use to pick their own wines and how the sun glistens off the grapes is so romantic but after 30min it’s just work! That’s just hilarious. We didn’t get this much personality at the other larger wineries.
They have the best Pinot Sarah! They’re prices are a little bit more than the 2^nd place we went to (Fenestra) but they don’t charge for tasting and it’s a very quaint and intimate winery in a business park! This is a rare gem ! So you should stop by and enjoy this lovely winery. The name is also so cute! Their last name is LONG so get it? Longevity winery…

This is a great place!!!
The first time I went here, it was due to a long day of work and following the signs. Unlike most (if not all Livermore wineries) they are located in a business plaza, so they are rather sneaky about their location. Also, I was fortunate to drop by around an event, so they had a bunch of snacks to try. Debra and Phil were very nice and friendly and even showed me around their tasting room/​warehouse where they make their wine at. They do not charge a tasting fee, tend to have something to snack on, and make you feel very welcomed.
There were only a few wines that I didn’t care for, but the Cab alone is worth the trip!
