King Bristle Dryer Vent & Chimney Cleaning

I recently inquired about having my chimney cleaned. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. I would use their services again.

Had our chimney cleaned for the first time since we built the house 13 years ago! It really needed it and the guys did a wonderful and professional job. They had a bit of difficulty finding us (as most people do) since we can’t be found by using a GPS but they were very good about calling to keep us informed on their arrival.
We had another company lined up but they «flaked». We were glad to find King Bristle as their price was better and their service was excellent. We called for an appointment and they were able to come out the next day.
We would happily recommend them.

Just had my chimney cleaned for the first time in the 10 years living in my home. Jon who did the cleaning/​inspection was very professional and informative on what he was doing. Would definitely recommend King Bristle… however I wasn’t informed while making the appointment of a surcharge of using debit/​credit of 3% so have cash on hand!

I had never had my chimney or dryer vent cleaned the entire time I lived in my house (10 years) and I had no clue the fire hazard we were living in. I called King Bristle and Gilbert and his team arrived on time and cleaned my chimney no problem. But when it came to twenty plus years of dryer lint it was a. Different story. There was over ten POUNDS of lint stuck in the pipes. So bad that three of his brushes got stuck inside and he had to go through my air duct vent to try and retrieve his brushes and pull the lint out by the fistfuls. He went over and beyond in trying to help solve this problem so it never happens again. He said it was the worst amount he had ever seen… a prize I would rather not win when I have two kids in the house and this is a huge fire hazard. He cleared the vent pipes and fixed it so it won’t happen again. I appreciate him not giving up and solving the problem of an oddly shaped pipe!!!

We recently had King Bristle come to do a dryer vent cleaning and were very impressed with the service we received. Professional, friendly, thorough, timely, efficient… To name a few!
The dryer vent cleaning itself went very well. Just as advertised, the technician left the space cleaner than he found it — and I don’t just mean the vent! He covered his shoes the entire time he was inside our home, and swept and tidied up after himself. It was really nice to get exactly what was promised: what you see in their video commercial is what you get.
We actually had the technician take a look at quite a few issues we’ve been having around the house and he gave recommendations without any pushy salesmanship. The same honesty we found in their advertising came across again in his suggestions for how to address our homes repairs/​maintenance. We will most definitely be hiring King Bristle to come out to our home again and recommend them to our friends (and fellow Unilocalers) as well.

My husband and I bought a new washer and dryer in February from Sears and when it was delivered the Sears service team broke our vent attachment system and did not securely fasten the washer to the dryer (for the stackable system). For more than two months, Sears came out at least 5 times to fix the problems and were never able to do so. Finally, when we were just about to send back the washer and dryer to Sears and ask for a full refund, Gilbert from King Bristle came to the rescue! He arrived promptly for his Saturday 8AM appointment and was extremely friendly, professional, and efficient. He was able to fix the problem immediately and now we have working washer and dryer once again! King Bristle is the BEST!

Used this company for the first time to have my chimney cleaned and they did an awesome job. They left me a nice packet of information about other services as well… will use them for dryer exhaust cleaning next… which I hadn’t even thought of until I read their information packet. They also fixed the fireplace door (don’t know the exact terminology) at no cost. The two individuals (Gilbert was one of them) that came were professional. Definitely recommend them if you need services such as chimney cleaning, dryer exhaust cleaning, and window/​gutter cleaning. I had thought it was going to cost me more but very reasonable.

My boyfriend and I have been in our house a little over a year before we finally decided to get the chimney cleaned. When I searched, here on Unilocal,for a chimney sweep, King Bristle came up first. I called and got the answering machine, left my message, and was called back within the hour and was set up with a day and time for Gilbert to come out. Gilbert was very helpful and friendly on the phone, making the ordeal even easier.
On the day Gilbert came out he told me about the process and talked me through what he was doing the whole time. When we initially bought the house, we were told the chimney was structurally fine, but not how dirty it was. Boy was it bad! After Gilbert did an initial wipe down, I learned that the back of the chimney was not black, but tan brick!
He did a great job even in the small space available. While working his gentle conversation really made the time fly. Gilbert kept talking and showing me how much soot was coming down, I couldn’t believe there was that much, yet he cleaned it all beautifully and without complaint. At one point he practically had half of his body in the fireplace to make sure he didn’t miss anything! He said it was one of the dirtiest he’d done, and that the previous owner must have done a lot of burning and no cleaning. He did say however the style of ours made it easier to clean, even though he almost filled an entire home depot bucket with soot. The whole ordeal went off without a hitch and I am so thankful to Gilbert for making it a total breeze.
I would highly recommend King Bristle to anyone who enjoys a job well done and fantastic customer service. Thank you Gilbert!

My experience with King Bristle was excellent. They were very polite and worked around my schedule to come clean my chimney. They were punctual when arriving. I have a crawling baby and I really appreciated the little shoe booties they wear to keep my house clean and the tarps to catch the stuff from the chimney. I am impressed with the professionalism they had. The owner personally sat down with me and explained what they did, what I need done in the future, and information on how to maintain my fireplace/​chimney safely. You can tell he’s a family guy cuz he didn’t mind my 4 and 5 year old asking questions constantly. All around nice company and with the prices being so low I will be sticking with them for future services.
