I tried this place twice for pedicures and I will not be returning. I’ll break it down– * niked my toes not once but twice by two different techs * solution for stopping the bleeding was lots of crazy glue! So much that it not only hurt the next day but also uncomfortable hard glue rubbing against my skin * burned me with hot stones. They do not check the temp on the stones first and it hurt so much that I actually yelled and accidentally kicked the stone out of her hand. * after the salt scrub she sprayed me with alcohol which burned due to the fact that she scrubbed me raw * squirted hot lotion on my legs for the massage– again they do not have the temp regulated correctly *horrible ventilation and a very strong chemical smell * when I went to pay she added $ 5 for taking off the old gel polish. She should of told me it was extra beforehand * expected a tip! When I went to pay I was not satisfied with the treatment. She told me the total and asked how much I would like to put on the card. I told her I wanted to put the exact total. She then asked me three more times as if she hadn’t heard right. When I didn’t waver she said, «oh then you must have cash for the tip» I went here out of convenience but will not make that choice again.

Good quality work. Poor business etiquette. My pet peeve is making an appointment and then waiting around because they are finishing someone else. Granted it’s almost promised you’ll wait a few minutes. 5 minutes I can understand. But multiple times I’ve come here and been sat with someone who probably isn’t licensed to file my nails to distract me while I wait for my actual appointment. Today was the last straw. I made a 4 pm appointment with the manager got there 10 minutes early. Sat down waited, the gal I had my appointment with didn’t acknowledge me right away because she was starting someone else’s nails. She said hello and confirmed my 4:00. I asked«will you be able to take me at 4?» She winced said 15 minute wait… no. Asked if someone else can do them? No. That’s why I made and appointment and made it with you… Awful business. Treat returning customers with an appointment with priority. Lost my business.

My coworker told me about this place. I’ve been a Livermore resident for 10 years and have jumped around nail salons like everyone else. They’re all the same, right? WRONG! I had gone to another place and was complaining to my coworker that I needed to get a manicure because my nails were getting caught in my hair. She goes oh, you need to go to that place by Starbucks. They don’t lift. I’m like ok. Not believing they could be that good. My gel nails always lifted after about a week at the base of the nail and at the tips. I’ve had about 5 gel manicures now from Calle at Crystal Nails– waiting about 3 – 4 weeks in between manicures and not once have they lifted, they chipped once at 3.5 weeks, and they look as good as day one. If you care about your manicures, come here.

Today I went with a friend for a pedicure. It was nice, relaxing and fun hanging out with my friend. They have a variety of pedicures to chose from, but seems strange that there were several«a la carte» add-ons”, so my mid priced pedicure ended up expensive. I was only told about 1 of the add-ons but was charged an additional $ 15 above and beyond my agreement. Crystal Nails is expensive! I’d rather drive out to Antioch and get a far superior pedi + manicure for less than what I paid here. The very nice lady that did my pedi did NOT do what I asked for on my polish. It was partially my own fault because I was relaxing and chatting with my friend, but I didn’t think I had to watch her every step of the way. I will probably not go back.

I had an appointment for a Pedicure and a Manicure. I stressed the importance of needing to have the manicure and Pedicure done at the same time due to time. They assured me it would not be a problem if I made it for 1. Arrived and they took 20 min to start. The lady that was doing the mani stopped after starting one hand without saying a word to attend someone that came for a full set. Both were rushed through and one nail got ruined by them and their haste and just a quick fix was done. Unfortunately I didn’t have time for them to fix it. Super unsatisfied

All time favorite place to go! They do a wonderful job, friendly staff and a very clean salon. Love coming here! I feel like they are reasonably priced too! I defiantly recommend coming here if your in need of a good nail salon!

Writing this review as I’m getting my pedicure done. I am so incredibly happy with this nail spa and am definitely calling it my go-to place now. Callie did my shellac manicure and pedicure. She is AWESOME! :)

They did an awesome job and my nails look great! However I’m almost positive they did not use sanitary tools on me for my pedicure and manicure.

Went here on June 19th for a wedding with about 10 other women. Absolute worst experience. We had called to make appointments and they said they would be able to accommodate all of us. When we showed up for our appointments at 1:00 only about 6 women were working, so only half of us could go at a time. We ended up being there for two hours. I ended up being one of the first to go for a pedicure, and one of the last to get finished. I had a regular pedicure and asked for a design. An older lady did my toes and clearly didn’t know how to do designs. After she finished my pedicure and painting all my toes except my big toe, I sat in the chair for another 45 mins just waiting for someone to finish my design. I asked 3 times when someone was going to finish my design and was completely ignored. Finally someone came over to finish my design only to paint it a completely different pink than what I had on the rest of my toes. At that point I was so mad at the whole situation I didn’t ask for them to fix it. When I went to pay they had the nerve to give me attitude for not leaving a tip! I will never go here again!

I have always had a good pedicure when coming here. The polish stays on and I’m a runner so my feet take a beating some days. The best part is they take the time to clean out all the crap that builds up. Woman who wear high heels know exactly what I’m talking about!

What an awesome nail salon. Claira did my nails and she took her time and can do whatever design you can imagine up. I will be back for sure to get my nails and toes done. The only reason it got four stars and not five is because when it’s busy it takes a little bit of time to get to you but they are quick to catch you up once they start.

Went here to have my heels softened but was surprised that the tech only used the foot file 2 – 3 times on each heel. I asked her if she could scrub a little more and she mumbled something about an electric file doing a better job(WHAT?). I asked her to put an acrylic nail on my big toe(in grown toenail that is healed) and she explained that it would be longer or something(what?). Not to be racist but these places should really have, at least, one person who understands and can speak the English language. I mean you have to service your customers and if they are English speaking shouldn’t you cater to them(just saying: /). Hopefully I don’t get too much hate mail for that but it’s a free country last time I checked :) Hated it!

Two worst pedicures I’ve ever had! The last two pedicures I got were from here. The first time the nail polish cracked and peeled off the next day. The second time look like a 2 year old painted my toes! The only reason they got 2 starts and so wish I could give them more was because my gel manicure was great! She did an awesome job! There are places in «downtown» livermore that are way nicer and much better pedicure for this price!

I moved back to Livermore after living in the frigid Midwest, and went on a search for a good nail spa. I tried 3 other salons with varying degrees of success before selecting Crystal Nails Spa. I go in for pedicures and pink & white acrylic fills. All of the ladies are wonderful. The service is very consistent. I always call ahead to make an appointment as they are consistently busy. I’ve never been kept waiting — they always seat me immediately This nail spa has a very relaxing/calm ambiance. I’ve fallen asleep more than once during the Royal Pedicure(#5) — good stuff!

A little on the expensive side, but worth it. They have varying levels of pedicures, which is nice as it gives you options depending on the price you are looking to pay. They have tons of shellac colors & matching regular nail polish for your toes. This is really nifty as you do not have to find a similar looking nail polish to match. Clean & nice facility

I called and made a last minute appt on a tuesday afternoon. Gel nail manicure -$ 35 with shoulder & hand massage and lotion Regular pedicure-$ 20. There’s different ranges. Amy did my gel manicure and was pleasant. She did not talk to me much– which I was fine with. She took her time with my gel and it turned out great. It’s been 2 wks and still looks great. I wash my hands ALOT& use alcohol sanitizer all the time. Amy was meticulous. Lisa did my pedicure and had a sour look on her face the entire time. The only time she talked to me was to yell«No!!» at me when I took one of my feet out of the soak. It just made me laugh. After she was done with the pedicure she disappeared and never came back. In and out in about 1 hour. It was a slow tuesday afternoon tho. Pros Parking lot Near freeway The tools they used on me were individually packaged, so I’m assuming they were autoclaved or sterilized prior. They use a new bag to line the foot soak. Clean and tidy salon Well ventilated so you’re not getting sick on nail fumes Cons They used a foot buffer on me that seemed to be reused. I will come back. The place seemed clean. They have a large selection of colors.

I got a gel manicure here not even a week ago paid 40 dollars and my nails are already chipped and half gone and it’s not like I’m in the water at this time of year I’m a full time student so I’m not beating on my nails this is an outrage that now I’m going to have to pay another 30 – 40 $ to go somewhere else for another gel manicure because this barely lasted a week. Forget it don’t bother coming here go else where for these prices.

I stopped by earlier in the week to check out the salon, atmosphere, cleanliness and was pleasantly surprised as I was greeted immediately upon walking in the salon. Salon was clean too. Very nice, courteous staff who answered all of my questions. I checked out their reviews on Unilocal and I called the next day to schedule an appointment. Claira did an excellent job on my nails. I am picky about my nails and the designs I want. I must say I was thrilled with the service I received and I’m totally happy with the shape and design of ALL of my nails. Claira was meticulous, gently filing each nail until she was also pleased with the shape. I was in and out in about an hour. I will be going back to see them again. I believe I found my new nail salon. I keep looking at my hands and smiling… near perfection for me!

Pedicures here are good /like the royal pedicure. Wife got shellac manicure — was unhappy that her small requests were not accommodated(she asked for small pink hearts on her French manicure on her ring finger, showed them a picture of what she wanted, they said they could do it and then when it came to doing it the nail tech kept sighing and messing it up and kept telling her that her nail was two small ?! Too small for small hearts … and they didn’t listen to her when she asked not to cut her cuticles — she knows it will bleed and it hurts like hell for days and burns when she washes her hands — and being a germaphobe she washes her hands A LOT — so they did cut them, didn’t listen and now she hurts… Oh and shellac manicure comes with a 10min hand and neck massage — what she got was 5min rush job. The facility was really clean and they seem nice and we enjoyed the pedicures — if I could give 2.5 stars I would. So 3 is generous here …

I love this place!!! All of the woman who have done my nails have been amazing! I can sometime be a tough customer as I always bring in a picture of some crazy design of Pinterest. Sometimes they aren’t identical but they always rise to the challenge and make my nails look great! I never make appointments so when I show up if there’s a wait I’ll just go to Starbucks or grab some yummy Mexican food right next door. People who complain about waiting need to RELAX!!! If your on a time crunch don’t come and get your nails done. If you’ve made an appointment and still have to wait I ask you, when was the last time you went to the doctors and got right in? Or the dentist? Or get an oil change? Come on people lighten up! We have become so accustomed to getting what we want right when we want it that we can’t just take a step back and look at how hard these people are working. They are crouched over working on a nasty set toes then they go right on to the next set. They don’t take breaks and eat lunch when they can fit it in. Ugh! I will always be a loyal customer! Keep up the great work Crystal’s!!!
