As a life practice and philosophy, I don’t hold grudges. Unless you are a cupcake shop or taco place that upsets me. Then, it’s on! In these situations I hold grudges soooooo hard! Example: I almost didn’t come here because the previous place never had consistent hours. But, I can’t fight a craving so I walked in… twice! Both at rando times and both times they have been open! Way to build trust Cake Delight.
It really doesn’t take much to please me with a cupcake. Cake has to be moist and sweet, not too sweet. The frosting has to be sweet (not too sweet) and not dense. And, a cupcake shouldn’t be expensive (unless it’s stuffed and all fancy). If those conditions are met I am happy. That has been the case here for the Red Velvet and Carrot Cake. Though, the frosting did not appear to be a traditional cream cheese frosting. Good, but different.
What was really, really good was the Cake Sampler! Basically a cake «tasting» in a to-​go box which is a great idea! The cakes were layered versions of their cupcake flavors and they were awesome, better than their cupcakes.
I walked out with a cake sampler and 2 cupcakes for $ 8…pretty good deal!

I originally ordered from Cake Delight back in 2010 for my wedding and we loved our experience. The wedding venue had throw out our cake after the wedding so we didn’t get to keep any of the delicious leftovers. Cake delight was so sweet and offered to make us an anniversary cake for the next year. When our anniversary approached I asked about it and with no hassle they made a small cake to enjoy for our 1^st anniversary. We had marble with strawberry filling and it was very yummy, just as I remembered from our wedding.
Recently I threw a big birthday party for my mom and I knew she needed a fabulous cake. I had found a picture online and asked cake delight if it could be done. They promptly responded and they said they could make it happen. It was a beautiful tropical themed cake with gorgeous sugar flowers. Everyone was so impressed! We got the chocolate cake with coconut filling and it was great. Reminded me of a lighter version of German chocolate cake.
Wouldn’t hesitate to order from Cake Delight again.

This place is amazing. I go to this place for all my birthday cakes. They work with you in any design you have. Sucks that they not open on Sunday. So I had to get my cake Saturday morning and store it in the fridge but other than that. This place is a must go.

First visit today. I was shocked that the cupcakes were $ 3. They are small for their size. I decided to taste the sample to make sure they’d be worth it. The sample was a red velvet with cream cheese frosting. It was delicious, and I’m not even a red velvet fan. It was moist and flavor packed. So, I purchased two for dessert with hubby tonight; a marble with choc mousse frosting (I think it was called Milky Way) and a choc with Carmel frosting (turtle). They were awful. Cakes were dry, and tasted as if they’d been sitting in a refrigerator. The frosting were super bland and waxy. Super disappointing. Service was great, tho.

Cake Delight created a beautiful and delicious wedding cake for our September wedding. They were so easy to work with and very affordable for the quality of the cakes. We chose and loved the marble cake, red velvet, chocolate, and white with strawberry for our 3 tiers and sheet cakes. Cakes were fresh and flavorful. Cake was decorated beautifully and exactly as we imagined it. Cake tasting appointment was very helpful and they are very generous with tasting to help you really make your decision! We would recommend Cake Delight to any couples getting married looking for a beautiful and affordable cake!!! We cannot wait to enjoy our top tier on our anniversary!!!

We were so happy with our wedding cake from Cake Delight! They were one of the recommended vendors from our venue, The Bridges Golf Club, and I’m so glad we went with them. I generally am not a huge fan of cake, it’s often too dense and rich for me, but I loved their cakes, it was almost hard to choose. We went with a three-​layer cake, with the top two layers red velvet with a cream cheese filling, and the bottom layer a marble cake with chocolate ganache filling. The cakes were both nice a fluffy, with richness from the filling and frosting. I like that they skip the fondant and use a buttercream frosting, which definitely tastes better! Taste was more important to me than appearance, but the cake looked deliciously beautiful as well!

Cake delight made an amazing cake for an event I was having. The cake was perfect and tasted incredible. I was so pleased with their service. They are extremely professional and met all my needs. I highly recommend them and look forward to using them again in the future.

I ordered a cake for my gf’s birthday and had sent over some ideas for the cake. I did the red velvet which tasted amazing. We emailed back and forth and once everything was confirmed we got the ball rolling. The design looked exceptional and the flavors were on point. Caked was picked up without any damaged. Easy to work with and transaction went very smooth. Pricing is fair, It is a business after all. I will definitely do business with cake delight again in the future. Thanks guys! 5 stars! Wish I could give gold stars like the cake.

I popped into the Cake Delight new location today to try a cupcake. I was quite suprised how small the cupcakes were for $ 3. I’ve been to numerous other cupcake bakeries who usually charge around the same for cupcakes that are twice this size. In fact, the red velvet I had was smaller than ones people usually make at home.
The cupcake wasn’t good to me. It was dry and the frosting tasted like the cream in a Twinkie? It was not a fluffy frosting, it was kind of hard and had the consistency of tooth paste to be honest. It was a let down. I would give 1 star for the cupcake.
They get 3 stars because the banana cream pudding that I also got was pretty tasty. Not amazing, but id go back for another one.

I want to love Cake Delight because sometimes you just need a cupcake.
I love cupcakes. They are little nuggets of sweet happiness when you need them. I also love supporting small/​local business.
My rating is on the taste only. Again this is one of those times I wish there were half star ratings. I couldn’t quite push it to 4, but hope to revise some day.

The service as mentioned is fantastic. The two times I’ve gone in the women in there have been friendly, engaging, and helpful.
Important note: this location is solid on hours. So, if you were a frequent visitor of the previous cupcakerie and disappointed in the inconsistent hours, fear not! Cake Delight is open during their posted hours and they have a good selection even at the end of the day.
The price is about standard for a regular sized cupcake that I’ve paid at similar cupcake trucks. The only reason I didn’t rate the price better is due to the quality to value/​cost.
I’ve had the carrot cupcake and the almond with coconut cupcake about a month apart. I’ve also tasted the chocolate ganache and white/​confetti cupcakes my daughter and husband had.
Unfortunately I found all of the cupcakes quite dry. They didn’t have a moist, sumptuous texture and crumbled inside my mouth. Usually drier cupcakes aren’t a super big deal breaker if you’ve got some killer frosting. However, the frosting fell short of my expectations also. To me the frosting tastes and has a texture much like Twinkie filling. It’s got a hydrogenated oil-​ish quality to it — a slightly greasy, airy, synthetic aftertaste. The carrot cake had cream cheese frosting and my coconut had buttercream. I honestly did not taste any butter in the frosting. Based on the texture and taste I had a hard time believing it was butter. Butter imparts a silky, rich mouth feel and a depth of flavor that I did not experience here. The frosting tastes «hollow» to me.
I know this business has been around for a while so I imagine their cupcake science is dialed in to their liking and may not change toward my tastes, but I want to give it another go in the near future just in case the third time is the charm.

I want to thank Cake Delight for being awesome. My wife and I use them because their cakes are amazing, and we found out today how great their customer service is too. I had picked up a woodland creatures cake today from the bakery, I earnestly was very careful with it, but somehow the top piece (fondant animal of some sort) tipped over. I understand that this is ultimately my fault, things don’t just tip over on their own. My wife asked them to fix it and they did. I picked it up and they offered me tips for when the time came to attach it back on to reduce any chance of failure. I fully appreciated this, I am sure they had to have been frustrated, after all they work extremely hard on their products, that anyone who has had their cake/​cupcake products can attest to. Thank you for fixing my blunder, Cake Delight.

Omg best cake ever! Almond with raspberry jam and Bavarian cream was fantastic ! It had so much flavor, for sure getting it again when place my next order :)

Cake Delight was great to work with! We had a cake and assortment of desserts at our wedding. The dessert table is the way to go! Everything tasted fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone.

We were about to sign a contract with another Vendor when I decided I wanted to try one more place — let’s just say I am beyond thankful that I did!
Fatema was able to squeeze us in last minute on Saturday at 8:00AM. I was wedding planning from San Diego and only up for two days wedding planning so this is the only time I could visit the shop.
The cake was absolutely stunning and tasted delicious! We were able to customize our flavors based on what we liked — for me it was white cake with salted caramel and for my husband it was chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and coconut crème (like a Mounds bar!) Our guests raved it was one of the best cakes they have had! Thank you!

I’ve ordered 2 cakes for different occasions (my baby shower and sons 3^rd birthday) everyone asks me where I purchased the cake, bread and feeling are so rich a creamy. Staff are very attentive to details and exceeded my expectations. Love this place.

Not only did it look exactly how I asked, but it was absolutely delicious. He loved it and so did the rest of us– so many complements! We served the cake at Campo Di Bocce, and I had about 25 family members with us who were literally fighting over the leftover cake the next day. Working with cake delight was a wonderful experience. My dads birthday cake was beautiful! And such a big hit everyone including my dad just loved it. It was delicious too! So moist and good!
Their costumer service was just wonderful. Always quick to reply and answer my questions. I had a problem with finding the figurines for my cake and they were very understanding and wanted to help me as much as possible. They didn’t add the the stress I was dealing with.

I contacted several places to get a cake from for my engagement party, but most of them were already booked or took way to long to respond. Cake Delight was quick to respond, and had good prices in comparison.
The whole process was a breeze, and my cake turned out lovely. I wish it could have been bigger, but our party was pretty small.
We chose strawberry as our favorite, the marble ganache for the middle tier, and lemon on the top tier. Delicious! The buttercream is quite thick though, and so sweet… Kinda ruins the overall taste.
The lace on our cake was supposed to be shimmery and it wasn’t, and they were no help at all finding a cake stand.

Cake Delight has been making our cakes for the past few years. It’s so great to know that if I need a cake for an event, Cake Delight will come through with quality flavors and cakes.
