Great customer service when I came in for a mystic tan they offer some great deals as well. There mystic machine was really nice and everything looked very clean. I will be back!

Love this place!!! Jason is such a sweetheart and he is very informative! He is also very knowledgable about the skin, and what is going to be best for my skin type. I’m in the beauty industry and he knows his stuff! Not just a ply to get your money, they help you choose the best option for you! Emily is also such a doll! Love it here!

Recently started a membership here to prep for a Hawaiian vacation. Last time I tanned here was over 2 years ago under the previous ownership and it was for the same reason. I was surprised to see it under new ownership but it looked nice so my husband and I both joined. Love it! Very nice beds, lots of options and it is kept so clean. We especially like the staff, they are all great; friendly and very helpful. I have to make special mention of Jennifer-​she is exceptionally friendly and takes time to get to know how the tanning is going, and pays extra attention to give suggestions. She is great! Highly recommend

They first day I walked in I met Jason and he was so educated about the beds as I was very skeptical. I am getting ready for my wedding and bachelorette party in Maui, and this has been a great way to build a base. The beds are up to date and the service is exceptional!

I’ve been coming to this location for a few months out of the year for the past nine years, most of which was under old ownership. I’ve been extremely pleased since ownership changed. They’ve updated the majority of the beds and really spruced up the interior. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable, and they take the time to get to know the regulars — they always have my name queued up before I even walk in!
Plus, the pricing structure is fair, and a lot better than the structure of the previous ownership. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven’t already.

I have been coming to this location since they took over. Such a professional and friendly staff… Really go out of their way to greet you by name when you walk in. Stacey always greets you with a big hello and great smile I would and have recommended this salon to many people. Keep up the great work

A friend recommended this place to me. Iv’e been tanning for 6+ years and have been to many salons. Signed up last night. Quick and easy process. Prices are listed very plainly and the contract is simple. The staff is Very friendly. Shout out to Stacey!
The place is VERY clean and the beds were cleaned promptly after exiting. They have very reasonable pricing. I ended up going with the 12 month contract $ 0 down! This membership does have perks for the price. It is a bit pricey at $ 82.00 a month, but you get what you pay for.
With the ultra membership comes the use of all beds, and unlimited spray tans. The spray tan booth was very easy to use (Stacey was VERY informative in showing me every detail I needed to know) My tan came out beautifully.
They are open until 9 PM. I recommend signing up here. i’m so glad I did!

If I could I would give a lower rate to this place I would. First of all, Jennifer was very nice. The place however sucks, the manager Jason, I can’t even find words. I asked them if I could use the Unilocal coupon on the package they had, they said yes and after 45 minutes they changed their minds. I was there for 45 minutes without getting a tan or a membership. Be aware people! They do not honor the Unilocal coupon!!!

Not thrilled about this place at all. Beds are nice, people are nice that work here, customer service… not so good. I signed up for what i thought would be 3 months of tanning, like any other place it would cancel after the 3 months… apparently you have to cancel your membership your self, and you have to send in a card to cancel and cant talk to a live person to cancel. I went into the shop talked to one of the girls working the front desk, she told me that corporate would be able to see that i haven’t tanned for about 2 month and they would probably refund me. NOPE. Nothing they could do for me. They said that i signed a contract in the beginning (which yes i did) but i was not told that i had to cancel my own membership. Extremely frustrating.

Super clean, beds work great, and the girls are nice and friendly! :) the reason I’m giving ⁴⁄₅ stars, the cancelation terms is really bogus. Ha besides that, I’m happy!

Really disappointed in the new ownership.
I used to tan at this location when it was the previous owners about three years ago. They had a great system where you could buy x amount of tans and use them as you please. They didn’t expire.
So I haven’t had any kind of sun in a few years and thought I would call because I knew I had 2 or 3 tans that I hadn’t used. I found out it was a new place. I asked the girl if they still honored tans purchased at the previous shop. She said she can try to look it up on their old system and transfer it to tans I could use there. She said the old computer was really slow so she would take down my info and call me back. That never happened.
I also asked about what kind of tan packages/​cost Australian Tans had. They are strictly membership. So for someone like me who just wants to go in and tan 3 – 4 times to get some base color, it doesn’t work. They want you to sign up for a monthly membership. I asked if I could just buy a few tans. Her response was «well yeah, but it ends up being really expensive.»
Moral of the story, if you just want a few tans before a vacation or just to get a bit of color, and not a regular weekly tanning, go elsewhere.

Australian Tans absolutely has the best equipment AND the best staff. Stacey in particular is so personable, knowledgeable, and friendly! If you are tanning this is the only choice!

Great tanning salon. They have different «levels» of beds. I bought the level 3 monthly package and was very satisfied. With the level 3 package, you could use any level 3 bed, as well as their level 2 and 1 beds. I guess, the higher level bed that you use, the less you burn. I usually burn when I tan at a salon (even though I start slow) but never burned here so I was very happy about that. I only had to wait in line one or two times there during the 3 months that I had my monthly package for. Aka they have a ton of beds at this salon! Some of the beds don’t have speakers that work so I just played music out of my iPhone. No wifi network available here however.

The lady at the front desk needs to work on her customer service. I came in with a 20 $ for 50 $ voucher and she initially stated that I couldn’t use it because I wasn’t a «new customer.» I had only tanned there once mind you, and the two ladies that were there the first time had GREAT customer service. Wish they were there instead. I had to ask the lady to call whoever was in charge to confirm that this voucher was valid. Other then that I liked the tanning beds and versa spa is awesome. Would be 4 stars If I wasn’t a little irritated :/

The beds are great! The people working here also very nice!
Here is where the one star comes:
You are only allowed to cancel in writing and when they get your cancellation the will cancel!
I went in intending just for one month of usage and I was told by the nice girl I would need to cancel before of the 14^th of month! It wasn’t explained that I had to do it within that week and I assumed it was the 14^th of the next month! I was charged for that month!
Two weeks later I mailed my cancellation card which they received at the end of the month. I then noticed my card was charged with 71 $ !!
I called the 888 number to speak to customer service (total inconvenience rather than talking to someone at the shop), and the phone disconnected at least 3 times after being transferred. I then gave someone my phone number and a lady called me back within half an hour when I couldn’t talk.
Finally talked to someone who told me I can’t be refunded because I didn’t send in my cancellation a week after I signed up! She then said she would give me a free month at a later time, but I only needed the service for this month! I am also moving away so I wouldn’t come back to this location!
A manager then spoke to me and said to dispute the charge with my bank! Customers be aware you will be ripped off by the corporation! Again the people inside the salon are very nice but the way this business is ran is very shady!

Very bad. Not clean at all, saw dried sweat on most of the beds. Very unprofessional. Not recommended at all.

Groupon Buyers beware! They had a deal $ 24.95 for a month unlimited using any tanning bed which is unheard of. I purchased the voucher for my son Zack and drove from Pleasanton to Livermore which is a good 25 minute drive. They asked for his ID. I explained he didn’t have his driver’s license or permit yet. He had his highschool ID in his wallet and showed it to them. Well that wasn’t good enough!!! It’s a tanning salon not a bar. They wanted his birth certificate! I told them I could bring in a copy at his next session but we drove all the way over there and could we tan since he is old enough. Asked for a refund for the $ 24.95 and was refused stating they have nothing to do with Groupon. I’m very disappointed. My son has severe acne and his dermatologist uses a stand up bed in his office but charges a large fee for each session, so thought I had found a great deal and could save him some money but they refused to let him go.

This place is awesome! I recently saw all the new renovations and decided it was time to get some color-​I never would have walked in if it weren’t for the new owners.
Everyone who works here is very nice, helpful and quick. There’s great packages for different memberships and for the quality of beds, the prices are good.
Ive been extremely pleased! I’m so sad I’m moving out of the area to Walnut Creek-​so im definitely petitioning for an Australian Tans to open there too! … However I will still commute out here until so. :-)

When I went in, I didn’t realize there were new owners. I had to do some paperwork which was fine. I was told there was no long term contract and you can cancel at any time. You have to put a card on file for monthly auto withdrawal. I decided not to leave a card on file but Too LATE! I was now locked in for March and April since you have to cancel two weeks in advance only by filling out their form and sending it snail mail to their corporate office, REALLY!
I went in again on their grand opening and got suckered into buying a lotion for $ 48.00! And that was 25% off. I was told if i bought 1 lotion, I would get the spa lotion for 1 penny. So I went to buy one and they wanted $ 89,00 for it! WHAT? I opted for the cheaper one, if you consider $ 48.00 cheaper, and guess what, I no longer qualified for the 1 penny product The prices are ridiculous for lotions. Go to CVS and save yourself some cash. It seems every time I’ve gone in, I am hit with a bait and switch.
The people seem ok, but there is kind of a Jersey Shore vibe. The beds are good, but ask all of your questions befor you hand over you credit card or cash.

Absolutely professional staff! Clean beds and lots of tanning products to choose from!
