Honest and reliable company just like we were told! They answered the phone, not an answering machine as I expected on the weekend. who does that? They came out the same day and after a little bit, made the repair on the spot. They were fully prepared to handle our issue. Very professional and we paid a fair price when it was all said and done. Awesome to have a great company here in Livermore that services this whole area. Thank you Ambient :)

Ambient fixed my AC earlier, now it was the heater’s turn. Luckily, they sent Tony again. After the unit put up a solid fight, Tony won the day. He was able to problem solve like Sherlock Holmes and get to the heart of the matter and correct it. Even though there may be other issues than the unit itself, he was still able to get it working.
Nobody likes to be without heat when it gets cold. Ambient sent someone the same day, and Tony was professional, courteous and expert in his field. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Our air conditioner went down late Friday night after a 3 day heat wave. Our house was 95 and no one could sleep. We called Ambient Heating and Air Saturday morning and spoke to Mike who was very helpful. He got ahold of his tech and called us right back. Scott arrived at our house about an hour after we called. We were shocked how quick it was. When Scott arrived he was friendly and professional. He had our air back on within minutes. Scott waited and made sure everything was working properly. He explained to us how our air conditioner worked and what was happening. He was very knowledgeable. He answered many questions we had and went above and beyond. When we described how our master bedroom always seemed to be much warmer. He asked if he could take a look in the attic. When he did he noticed the duct was not even attached and blowing air into our room. We had been cooling the attic for who knows how long. Now our air conditioner works like a champ. We are so excited and relieved. We highly recommend Ambient. What a great company and we look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Ambient Air has been servicing my A/​C & Heater for 10+ years out here in Discovery Bay and these guys are beyond amazing. I have called them in the evening (here they come), early morning (here they come) and also on… wait for it… CHRISTMAS morning and here they come! Rob & Kim have picked up the phone on Christmas TWICE for me as I had a houseful and a heater that was having major issues. After multiple runs to my house Rob was never one to just say it was time to rip and replace, he did as much as he could to keep me from having to put a ton of money into a new unit. Fast forward to July of this year (2015) and it was the last time my A/​C could be fixed by Rob and his team. As hard as it was to come up with a huge chunk of money for a new A/​C, I am happy to say that Rob & Kim finally were able to sell me something worth their efforts as I would have purchased it from nowhere else but them. Support your locals folks as they are not only the best but they live in our community and wave and smile when you pass them on the road. The air conditioning went out in my rental condo and the temperatures were expected to go to 109 so I needed someone right away. I was referred to Ambient and called them first and they go right on it and had someone out within the hour! The did a fast and great job at a reasonable price and I could not be happier. I would highly reccomend Ambient Heating and Air if you need some help in a hurry. They are very friendly too!

My A/​C was blowing hot air a couple of Sunday’s ago and right smack in the late afternoon, was working fine before that. I was in full panic mode, the inside was quickly climbing to 90 degrees between me and my pets, it was quite miserable. I looked on Unilocal not looking for anyone in particular just someone who could rescue me on a weekend after hours, called several people that popped up. The first two companies, didn’t answer and they had 5 stars, in fact didn’t even have answering message space to leave a message! what the??? Ambient was third in the line up. A nice woman immediately picked up, calmed me down and assured me someone would be out that day. Not only were they out they ahead of the time window promised. Tony came out, he was very professional, polite, and so HONEST!!! yes, honest folks. He brought down the blown transformer piece showed me how it was arched and blown out. He assured me that I didn’t need the whole unit replaced it was an easy fix. Then he recommended another electrical piece that married to the piece he was replacing and said it was weakening and didn’t need replacement now, maybe like 6 mos from now. I told him please go ahead and fix now. He didn’t have the 2^nd piece on his truck but he came back a couple days later, fixed it while I was at work and left the old part in the box the new one came in to show me it was replaced, and at no additional cost. I WILL ONLY USE THEM GOING FORWARD. Folks, do yourself a favor and use this honest company and no they didn’t pay me to say all this, I was just that impressed. (Kristi Manning)

My air conditioner at my rental property in Livermore CA broke down on Saturday and my renters said it was one of the hottest days of the year. I called Ambient Heating and Air and spoke to Jenny. She was so polite and helpful. The technician arrived right on the schedule time. He was very professional and courteous he listen and answer all of our questions. He found the problem right away. The pricing was fair considering it was a weekend call. The other companies I had called before them were not available until Monday or Tuesday of the following week. My tenants were very relieved when they show up within two hours of my call. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ambient Heating and Air along with the technician Tony who came out that day. I also be will be referring this company to all my friends and family in the Tri Valley area. If I ever need them again they will be he first ones I call!

Great company… put in my AC last year… this year had a problem with it, it was no longer blowing cold. Called them at 9pm last night and they were at the house by 830am this morning to fix it. Issues/​problems happen but it’s how the company handles the situation. Ambient did what’s right and did it quickly so I didn’t have to deal with hot, angry women in the house! ;) Thanks guys. Highly recommended.

Had an a.c. issue and gave Ambient a call. They were very professional and sent Tony out within the hour. Tony was very clean cut and professional looking. He was honest with his quote and had my air conditioner working and blowing cold air in no time! I would highly recommend this company to anyone that wants fast, professional service.
