Established in 1990.

As a child Dr. Khoury was extremely ill and had severe allergies. His parents took him to many allergy specialists. He received large amounts of medicine and allergy shots from age 4 to 15. That is when, upon a friend’s urging, his parents took him to a chiropractor. Amazingly within 2 months his whole life changed and all his allergies cleared up. He went from being a sick child who had no energy to play sports and able to do anything he wanted. Dr. Khoury knew then he wanted to become a chiropractor. He also wanted to help people and change their lives.

Dr. Khoury graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 1990 receiving his Doctoral Degree of Chiropractic. At the time Dr. Khoury was the youngest graduate of Life West. He has been in practice for the past 20 years and makes Livermore, CA his home.

Now Dr. Khoury has one of the largest thriving offices in the East Bay. Having personally served over half a million office visits. Dr. Khoury has made incredible changes in thousands of peoples lives (see testimonials section). Dr. Khoury also performs a unique combination of different chiropractic tecniques merged together which shows incredible response with chronic pain conditions, asthma, reflux, fibromyalgia and head aches.

The team at Advanced Health is phenomenal. The front desk is cheerful and positive and the 3 doctors are all fantastic.
I started seeing Dr. Khoury and gang due to a problem with my neck/​back/​shoulder blade and we worked out a plan to help ease my pain. I felt that the team genuinely cared about my well being rather than just simply «cracking my back» and sending me on my way.

Love this place. Had a stabbing pain in my spine for months. My insurance was going to charge me $ 600 for x-​rays. Advanced Health did it for $ 25! Not only that but my pain was completely gone after just one adjustment. I plan to go regularly in the future. It’s super clean and everyone’s really nice. Awesome!

I first saw Dr Koury about 4 yrs ago and have received treatment from him for my back and spine on different occasions. He hid the best chiropractor I know because he can actually fix or greatly improve your problems. Unfortunately for me I have spinal stenosis, so I will never be totally fixed but it’s nice to know that I have a Chiropractor who can provide me some relief. Dr Koury is also caring and compassionate about what he does and his patients. The staff has always been friendly as well. And last but not least they have a great massage therapist as well.

I have been going here since my accident in October 2014 and I love it. The staff is very kind and helpful. I never have to wait they are always able to fit me in and willing to work with my busy schedule. They teach you about how you can better your body from the inside out and they are always doing things to appreciate their patients. Great office!

After searching tirelessly for a new chiropractor I stumbled upon this office through none other than Unilocal.You have no idea how difficult it is to find a good chiropractor with a nice office and friendly staff. I’ve seen my fair share of doctors and am always annoyed when I have to move because that means finding a new chiropractor (again!!). It’s important to work with an experienced doctor if you need holistic care because one bad adjustment can lead to immense pain. If you go to a chiropractor, it’s most likely because you were in a car accident or some other type of trauma that caused back pain. With that being said, no one wants to enter an office in pain and leave in a greater state of pain.
The doctors at AHC certainly know what they’re doing and have helped me stabilize my back after a traumatic injury. I will need ongoing adjustments for the rest of my life so I’m glad to have found an office that I feel comfortable in. When visiting their office you get the sense that they genuinely care about their patients and want to help as much as possible. The staff have always been very helpful during my visits and they make the check-​in process quick and easy. Their office has 8 private areas and a wide range of services are available for patients. If your medical insurance doesn’t cover chiropractic care the doctor will work with you to figure out a reasonable financial agreement. This flexibility shows that they make their clients a priority and aren’t just running a business for profit. If you’re in need of a new doctor I highly recommend AHC!

I highly recommend my family and friends to give them a try. I hadn’t realized how much damage i had caused to my spine or the consequences of it until they took x-​rays and they found i have double scoliosis and arthritis starting in my neck and i am only 25. I had seen my GP at Kaiser regarding my concerns prior to coming to AHC and was blown off as just «cartilage grinding». Now, i am fully aware of what the problems were and I am getting it properly treated.

After working with children for over 15 years and two car accidents (one nearly fatal), I was suffering from severe inflammation and lower back issues. I had tried everything from physical therapy, pressure point massage, ice, previous chiropractors, etc. I literally wanted to just give up. Going for adjustments at advance chiropractic has been amazing. My back and neck both feel better prior to my both of my car accidents! I used to be in constant pain 24/​7, and it has decreased tremendously. I am exercising again and back to my old routine. The staff and chiropractors are very customer service driven, and genuinely care about their patients. I highly recommend this office for anyone with lower back issues!

I’ve been a patient here for a little over a month now. I have lived with lower back spasms that plagued me for over 3 years: a result of 15 seasons worth of bad snowboarding crashes, pregnancy, and lifting the child that resulted from that pregnancy. Finally, I couldn’t deal with it anymore and made the time to fix it. I had seen a great chiropractor in Lake Tahoe before I moved to the bay, only when pain was so bad I couldn’t function. I thought that chiropractic care was an «as needed» service. I was wrong to think that! Coming to this office, I was re-​educated. It’s more like massage or yoga: it takes a while to see lasting results. They really took the time during my exam to explain what was happening in my body, why waiting so long to fix it cost me years of suffering, treated me compassionately, and explained EXACTLY why chiropractic care helps. While I sought care for my back originally, they discovered initially that my neck was all out of whack. Oh yeah, I said. I forgot to mention that I have headaches, due to this knot at the base of my neck all the time. I thought it was normal and stress related. NOPE. Not normal! After 3 adjustments, I never felt the knot again. After 12 adjustments, I feel way less spasms in my back and am finally able to sleep at night, but I now know that it will take a full year of care to fix that. A year of care seems like a massive commitment, but I just think of all the appointment times and pain that went into having braces on my teeth, and this seems easy by comparison. Luckily, Dr. Khoury worked with me on finances to make it affordable and I LOVE that they get me in and out when I’m in a hurry and are really cool when I need to change my appointments. Also, the women who run that office are so friendly and informed. Stoked to be a patient here. I’ll update my review when I finish my care plan and feel like a 20 year old again!

a couple months ago I had extreme neck and middle back pain. I couldn’t even turn my head up, down, right or left. Pain like this had come and gone more mildly here and there, but nothing like this. I went into get my exam and Dr. Khoury was very thorough and helpful explaining what my issues were. After my first adjustment I felt a huge amount of pressure relief and some pain reduction (the fix doesn’t happen over night). Then I was in more extreme pain after a couple more adjustments. My muscles were just so sensitive and inflamed in my neck. The guys were very understanding and would let me come back for another adjustment in the same day because I was having such a hard time. Getting the chair massages on these days also helped. Now just after 6 adjustments (with a couple extra from hard days) I am able to do yoga again, have more range of movement in my neck and not squirm so much when I am at work in meetings. I am very thankful for meeting Dr. Khoury and the team and so happy I decided to try chiropractic care.

Wednesday I «pulled» a muscle in my back, due to a 50 pound English bulldog puppy whipping me around like as kite on a string. For a full week I took Motrin and «dealt with the pain». And so it went until one morning I woke up at 5:00 AM with excruciating pain. I could not move to get up from the bed. I was sure I now had «torn» a muscle, probably the one I «pulled».
I went online and found Advanced Health Chiropractic. As soon as they opened I called for an appointment. I am not sure why I chose this course of action. I have never been to a chiropractor before and had heard many conflicting accounts about chiropractic care.
It turned out to be the best choice ever! Dr Khoury took time to not only assess my condition but to thoroughly explain why adjusting my spine and neck would alleviate the pain in my sore back muscles.
I was a total skeptic at first, but once Dr Khoury adjusted my spine and neck there was instant relief.
Dr Khoury was so caring and sensitive to my pain that he came in on the morning of his day off to continue his care of my injured back and neck. I can’t believe how quickly my pain subsided. I feel like I got my life back!
I am now an advocate of chiropractic care. I don’t totally understand how it works, but I can tell you it does work! I thought the pain is coming from a «sore», «pulled» or «torn» muscle. I learned that muscle is connected to nerves in my spine and if my spine is adjusted those nerves settle down and the pain stops.

I absolutely love and recommend Advance Heath Chiropractic. I have been going to there for about 5 months now and I feel great. Not only did they diagnose me, but more importantly they educated me on my condition and gave me tips on how to improve my health. With regular adjustments, traction and simple things I could do at home. I went into their office with such great pain that I could barely walk from the pain in my lower back. Once I was seen and educated, I was able to understand what was going on with my back, nerves and entire spinal system. Their entire staff is super friendly, the scheduling is very convenient and the 3 doctors are absolutely wonderful!
Thank you for giving me hope, that I can continue a normal, healthy life at 31 and grow old and healthy enough to see my 5 year old become an adult!

I first went to see Dr Khoury in October of 2013. Pain in my lower back and a stiffness in my neck that was also very painful. I have seen a couple of chiropractors over the years, but decided to find another one close to home. Upon my first visit, I found this to be very different from past experiences. They have a very caring staff and you don’t have to wait for your adjustments. Since then I have been able to do things that I enjoy doing. Like gardening and going for walks without a back brace. The neck adjustments are amazing. I get an instant relief every time I go. I highly recommend Dr Khoury and the wonderful group of people that work in his office. Thanks for your help.

Before giving Advanced Health Chiropractic a shot I was convinced chiropractors were snake oil salesmen. Then I was hit by a car. My back was so sore I could hardly sleep and couldn’t pick up my young son.
I gave these guys a shot and I was feeling better within a few visits. I still come here for maintenance but since coming here I have not taken any pain medications for my back.
