Established in 2009.

Do Good Media, has a lovely back story.

The Youth Advocacy Partnership (YAP, our parent organization) is a not-​for-​profit organization seeking to teach young people marketable skills, and then provide meaningful service opportunities to use those skills. Previously, YAP was funded 100% by state and federal grants.

In 2009, we established our entrepreneurial effort to support our many youth programs: an in house digital production studio, Do Good Media.

Since this effort began, we have had the joy of working with awesome young people, teaching 21^st century digital skills, and involving very talented teenagers in every step of the production process. We’ve worked with non-​profit clients, government, private sector, individuals, and faith based groups.

We’ve recently expanded into website development, social media management, and marketing consulting to round out our product photography, graphic design, and video production services.

Meet the Manager

Steven S.

Manager

Steven, has a degree in Psychology, with a focus on Marketing, with over 10 years of social marketing experience beginning as a teenager through an anti-​tobacco advocacy group, known as Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT).

During his time with SWAT, Steven had the opportunity to work with ambitious peers, and was exposed to a level of passionate «change makers» that had a distinct impact on his approach to life: «If you’re going to do something all day long… you had better love doing it!»

Steven feels blessed and lucky, to be able to work with teenagers now, and help to share that passion for creating. Steven works directly with youth volunteers, and all of the staff at Do Good Media sharing his passion for good design, and composition, and he loves the process of putting a thought/​feeling into an image, video, experience, or marketing asset.

Steven is still passionate about saving lives and making his community healthier… he still works with the FL anti-​tobacco program!
