I always get the ham steak and eggs with sourdough toast. I have always had good service and a short wait time for food to come out. Good value for the dollar

This was one of my late Mom’s favorite places to visit for a meal after a doctor’s appointment at his nearby office. The food is consistent but never eye popping, the service is good and the prices are more than fair for what you get. Do I love it? No. Do I like it? Yes, and I have for more than 20 years.

Service was mediocre, more concerning to me was, I was surprised at how dirty the floor was as I look down when the waiter dropped the katchup bottle on the floor. He bent over picked it up put it on the tray that was holding my food and then proceeded to set it on my table, needless to say I did not use the katchup… I got ready to pour my coffee and was shocked at how filthy the coffee pot was it was sticky and obviously had not been washed in weeks. I was hungry for bacon and eggs but I won’t be returning here.

Good sucked. Service sucked. I had eggs and hash browns tasted sour. Scary. Waffle was cold and hard. Too bad. I was really looking forward to a good breakfast. My girlfriend said hers was good that’s why 2 stars.. actually it was 2 stars but when i told the cashier that it was the worst meal I’ve had and she said sorry that will be 21 dollars I changed it to one!

We visited for breakfast and got the VIB special for around $ 7.49 and I was overall satisfied with the egg omelette, toast, pancakes, and sausage links. I got the pancakes to go since the egg sandwich I made from the eggs and toast proved to be a hearty serving. We had fun talking to Stan and Shelley, who are both friendly wait staff. I’d go back. The coffee was what you’d expect it to be and was $ 2.29 for the carafe.

Wow. I used to come here more frequently when my kids were younger. We visited a few weeks ago and had the best service and awesome food. It was then when we learned about pie rush Wednesday. Buy anything from 10 am to 10pm on Wednesday and you get a free double crust fruit pie(apple, triple berry, strawberry rhubarb, or cherry) or specialty pie slice. Tonight the specialty was pumpkin or pumpkin supreme. What a fun way to try out their pies!

I went for lunch with friends on April 27, 2014. Yes the restaurant is clean and the pies out of this world. However when we arrived there was to much talking at the desk and not enough attention on the customer. We ordered our food and it sure took a long time to come out plus there were not many customers dinning to hold up the kitchen. While waiting these young adults came and having a loud conversation you could hear every word they were saying so they must have been friends. One girl that once worked there brought her boy friend in. He looked like a hood and always grabbing his crouch and for a minute there I thought he had Crab’s. One of the other waitress who was leaving brings her bicycle through the dinning room and stays to talk as-well. That was very unprofessional she should have left through the back door. The guy with the crouch itch was waiting for the cook to speak to I guess they were friends. They were walking past us into the bathroom or kitchen something was going on if you get my drift. When our food came out it looked great however a closer observation the hash browns were over cooked and slightly black. My pot pie was cold in the center which it was obvious it was frozen and the crust was placed under the broiler. I had to send it back for them to warm it up and when it came back out it still was cold. The crouch master came out with the cook that was at least an half hour later. Gee I wonder what they were doing? Sniff, Sniff. However I don’t have proof of this but I had a feeling. I’m seldom wrong. So I believe If you don’t work there and don’t eat there stay out and gossip somewhere else. Plus do you private business out of the restaurant because my food took a back seat because of the free for all.

Having moved to Colorado last year, and always a fan of the Denver omelette, I decided to try one here. It was quite good, came with hash browns AND pancakes(a three stack!). It was a lot of food and I limped out of there, but no complaints. The wait was about 30 min to be seated, this at about 10:30 am on a Saturday. While waiting, you’re tempted by freshly-baked pies of all sorts. All looked good. Fortunately for me, I was so full after downing the Denver omelette AND pancakes(did I mention it was a three stack?) that I was able to strut past the pies on the way out. «Say man, you want a pie? Naw, man. Omelette it go this time.» Read that line carefully. Get it? LOL. Or HAHA(because«LOL» is so overused) Dining area is compressed but clean and nicely arranged. I like the color in the place and some tasteful artwork adorns the walls. Something you won’t find at Denny’s. Check it out for a decent breakfast and some pie options.

I’ve eaten at Village Inn off and on for a very long time. I go there for good, basic breakfast food. It’s not the most memorable food, but is good in its consistency. That said, I give this particular Village Inn location 4 stars because of the friendly, efficient staff. Today we were greeted by the hostess who was very nice and chatted with us and made us feel welcome. Our waitress was just as friendly and as I ate my breakfast, I noticed all of the staff seemed to be going about their jobs in a happy manner. This is unusual for a basic chain restaurant or retail establishment in this day and age.

We waited a really long time to place our order. We waited a really long time for our food. We should have just made dinner at home. Every table in the place was full on a weeknight at dinner time and I’m guessing it’s because everything was so slow moving.

This review isn’t really about the food, its a typical village inn. I give it 2 stars because of the staff, really just one waitress. We were seated facing the kitchen so we could see what was going on in the back and I wish I didn’t… I ordered french toast with hash-browns and fruit. While waiting for our food I was watching our waitress grab plates and put them on a tray to take out. I saw something drop off the plate onto the dirty tray that just had dirty plates on it and she picked it up with her fingers and put it back on the plate. That grossed me out so I was keeping my eye on her to make sure my food wasn’t going to be dropped and touched… Well I saw my fruit come out and she put it on the tray then touched each piece moving them around, then wiping her nose with her hand and touching our food again. So gross! She was running credit cards, touching money, taking dirty plates and napkins off of other tables THEN touching food? Needless to say I didn’t eat what I saw she touched so I wasted my food and money. I don’t think I would go back to this one and if I did I would not want to sit in this woman’s section. That is just too gross and not sanitary at all.

I don’t know how many stars to give since we never got our food. The staff seemed friendly enough but over whelmed on a Thursday(holiday season) morning. We got our water and placed an order but we never saw the waiter again or any food. We left and went to our favorite secret breakfast place.

Yummy key lime pie. We stopped into this location as we were waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive for the movie at AMC. Tea and pie is so delicious at 530p. Clean atmosphere, courteous staff. I’ve been here before about a couple of years ago but I didn’t remember much about it from that visit. I guess they one location doesn’t differ much from another one.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Village Inn on several occasions. The final straw for me was when my husband ordered an omelette that came with cream cheese. The cream cheese inside was still in the square shaped block that it was when it was put into the middle of the omelette and it was still cold and solid. When we asked the waitress to replace the omelette she acted as though we were bothering her. We spoke with the manager and they didn’t do anything. During this visit we also had to wait for 45 minutes for a table. Stay away from this place. IHOP is 5 star compared to this place.

It’s a Village Inn. They serve the same things at this one as they do all the rest. Though the food at this one is a bit better than others and the staff is more on top of things than most. Well come to think of it I go here often because of the staff. They’re the most friendly Village Inn staff I’ve come across and they are more than willing to go the extra mile. If you’re looking for a Village Inn that won’t disappoint this is the one to go to.

I received this recommendation from the person sitting next to me on my flight in to Denver. This place was great! Service is tentative and quick. Food hot an delicious. Even though it is a chain, the location in highlands ranch exceeded my expectations. Thank you stranger next me on the flight.

Hadn’t been to Village Inn for a while, as I’ve always like IHOP more, but that has changed. The menu has been updated and they have a great V.I.B. breakfast for a good price and with a huge variety of options. You can pretty much mix & match what you want. On top of that, on both of our recent visits the service, food, and restaurant were great. The remodeling is nice since the interior was quite a bit dated. Will definitely be going here over IHOP now(which is good since it is closer). For the record, with the remodel done, you don’t have to wonder if you’re sitting on the bench that my wife’s water broke on just before having our first kid, lol.
