I paid over $ 300 to get antibiotics for my dog because he got a severe bacterial infection from the «designated pooping areas». The dog owners here NEVER pick up their dog waste, which causes infections in other dogs. It’s absolutely disgusting! Not to mention the fact that I pay for dog rent, which apparently does not include the cleaning of the pet areas and the refills of pet waste bags.

I don’t even know where to start. Horrible Parking, customer service (Always under staffed)(Lisa not very nice, always has an annoyed tone when I have questions, concerns) constant repairs (Fire inspections, Sprinkler Inspections) forcing all tenants to clear closets (Do they realize how much of a pain in the *behind* this can be) imagine having all ur clothes and shoes organized and they MANDATE to clear it all out because the have to see if the sprinklers work, in case of a fire. All furniture must be 3ft cleared from sprinkler heads… I mean SERIOUSLY! Don’t you think they would do this when the apartment is unoccupied) I was also warned that they are not responsible for damage to furniture, picture frames or clothes or what not during this inspection/​repair. This is ONLY the beginning.
I’ve had letters asking to keep the noise down, its a family, pet friendly community «Supposedly», well God forbid you dog barks because you’ll get a warning letter. Neighbors are not too friendly, I think we are all frustrated with management and the increasing rents. Cheap quality of carpet, cabinets. I’m paying more than 2k for Rent & Utilities alone for a two bedroom. (EXTREMELY OVER-​PRICED) I have lived here 12 months and I’m counting down the days to move out, my contract expires in one month. (Overwhelming with joy) There is so MUCH wrong here! Don’t waist your time/​money/​sanity living here.
BTW, I have NEVER wrote a bad review… But I really really had to this time.

I love living here! The ONLY thing that hasn’t gone flawlessly perfect is the new «guest parking» change… I don’t really understand why it suddenly became so strict. Other than that, I love the staff, the amenities, the location… I feel so spoiled to live here! — 4.5 stars

Parking here is absolutely terrible. If you come home after five pm, you can count on not finding a single spot and have a five minute or more walk to your apartment. They finally issued parking permits, but don’t worry, it’s not enforced at all. There is furniture from I’m guessing an evicted apartment taking up an entire parking spot and it’s been there over a week… looks pretty ghetto. Our apartment is right next to a really busy road, we can’t ever have out windows open because it’s so loud. There have been drunk people fighting outside of our apartment at least every other weekend, had to call the cops once at 2am. The pool lock has been broken all summer so random people that don’t even live here are always at the pool with kids running everywhere.
Other than that, Amy and Lisa in the office are really quick to respond to emails and are really helpful that way. Maintenance is decent and quick to fix things. Okay apartments, the carpet sucks though.

I could not be happier about my new place. I came to them on a Sunday and the team got me moved in that day even though my bank was closed. They showed me the apt I would live in. I said, «yes, I’ll take it» and the rest was just lifting heavy things. I am disabled and was able to get a ground floor apt with no issues. It was clean and well kept when I moved in. And it will stay that way until I move out. Thanks Cheri. She is a sweet heart.

Don’t even think about calling this place home. I’ve had the worst experience at this place from start to finish. First, I looked at apartments for 2.5 hours with a salesperson. I called twice and left messages about signing a lease after I decided on which apartment I wanted. No return call. I ended up having to deal directly with the manager because this sales girl wouldn’t return my calls. I should have gotten the hint at that point and gone to another apartment community nearby. There are plenty! Second, once I moved in I discovered that I had chain smokers that lived below me that were home 24 – 7. The smoke filled my entire apartment!!! I informed the office right away and they basically told me too bad and that I could move to a different apartment. I just moved all of my stuff in! According to the lease agreement, residents are not allowed to cause any discomfort, such as smoking, to the other residents. I pointed this portion of the least to the office, with no resolve. Then I discovered that there was a flood lamp/​security light right off of my balcony. This thing was bright enough to bring airplanes in for landing. I complained and they said too bad, it’s for security. Not only does it light my entire apartment at night, I can’t use my balcony at night because of all of the bugs that it draws to it. I lived in a unit that was on the pool. BIG MISTAKE. The pool at this place is full of screaming kids all day and then fills up with screaming drunks every night. I kid you not, the pool sounds like a frat house every night. Security is supposed to make sure everyone is out by 10:00, which NEVER happens. Actually, I’ve never seen security at this place. It’s a free for all, all the time. Forget having your windows open due to the noise. The residents overall are scummy. People smoking everywhere. Seems like every week there were police cars here for something. Once you sign a lease and you move in, you are out of luck. There is no one on your side. Just gross! Oh, and by the way, the fees at move out are ridiculous! They will charge you a minimum of $ 75 for painting and up to $ 150.00. You are also required to clean the carpets. This is a way that they make money on the back end. In my opinion, these fees should be incurred by the apartment complex and not the tenant. That is part of turning over an apartment. After my walk trough the manager said that I would have a minimal paint fee of approximately $ 25.00. Turns out, that wasn’t true. I was socked for $ 75.00 and couldn’t do anything about it. There word means nothing in this place. The absolute worst apartment living experience of my life.

Rent here if you don’t own a car because they don’t have enough parking! This place does not have a directory of cars who park here, an assigned parking spot, nor sticker system to be able to identify who pays to park here and who doesn’t. So basically, anyone leaving town for a week, needs to drop a car someplace, or is attending a raging party can park here with no consequences. Meanwhile, the people who pay $ 1500 a month to live here can’t find one spot. When I approached the management about this issue, the suggestion was to pay more money for a guaranteed spot or park farther away in places such as Bed Bath and Beyond, the park across Bowles Ave, or at Columbine High School. They have plenty of spots open in front of the garages, however, we would have to pay $ 120 a month to pay for those. Even though I was assured that I would be able to park here with «no problem.» Cars have been abandoned here and have not moved for going on two weeks now and the management doesn’t seem to be concerned. So beware, if you come home late at night and can’t find a parking spot, make sure to park over in side street parking somewhere that you don’t pay for and walk back five blocks in negative degree weather, or else Fairways will have your car towed for $ 330.
